Can Sodium or Calcium Channel Blockers Worsen SVT?
Okay, so I have a new med that I am trying, Propafenone. I have failed Norpace and also Flecainide. The problem I am having is that it seems that these medicines are making the SVT worse. I have Atrial Tachycardia. I cannot find any information about this. Where can I get more information? My doctor

Yes to trial.
And so it starts. I’ve made the decision,. Starting a new post here because the other one was getting too confusing for me. I’ve been asked to go in for an Echocardiogram on Friday. In 2 days time. Preparation for trial. But nothing worries me much right now more than how terrible I am feeling. Just

lidocaine infusion?
Good afternoon everyone. I have Occipital/Trigeminal Neuralgia and have had a variety of treatments for the past 7 years. Most recently a nerve block which went wrong and left me in worse pain. My last option is a lidocaine infusion which I am waiting for. I take Pregablin/codeine/migraine meds etc

First line of treatment
Well, I finally got to see my oncologist at Fred Hutchinson cancer center today. And finally a treatment plan! This all took time because I moved from South Carolina to Seattle for cancer treatment and to be with my kids. My oncologist was grateful I had done all the tests and biopsies prior to my appointment

chest pain
hello warriors, I have a mass in my chest wall and lungs, diagnosed with MBC on Jan 2021 and on ibrance and anastrozole. Scans thus far have shown no further spread. My next scan is in Dec. I am experiencing chest pain in the area that my chest wall tumor is. Also sensitive to deep pressure/touch. Worried

Anti-Dysrhythmics Making Atrial Tachycardia Worse?
Well, I tried the Norpace and it was a big flop. Not only did it give me daily Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia, it actually seemed to make my Atrial Tachycardia/SVT worse and more frequent, with longer episodes. I made it a whopping week. My EP seems to be getting frustrated with me and I think Rhythmol

Bisphosphonates
I was diagnosed with de novo metastic breast cancer about 9 months ago. I am currently on an aromatase inhibitor and Ibrance. Currently stable. I had a DEX scan and have osteopenia. My doctor wants me to go on bisphosphonate. I have put if off while completing dental work. I have done a lot of research

When is a second ablation advisable?
I was dx with Paroxysmal Afib in 2018. After the usual regimen trials of just Metoprolol, Flecainide, Flecainide with Metoprolol for rate control, etc. I received a Cryoablation on March 16 of last year (2022). I had two afib episodes a month or so after the ablation which was explained as being in

End of IBrance …
After 6 months of consistently rising tumor markers and increasing back and leg pain, a recent flurry of scans and an MRI have finally brought us to the realization that the IBrance and Anastrozole combo is failing to control the bone Mets in my pelvis, sacrum and L5. I’m in the process of starting

ibrance/letrozole - when did tumor shrink?
For those of you taking ibrance and letrozole, when did you notice a reduction in your breast lump? When you first started on the meds, how long did it take before you noticed things were changing and tumor started shrinking?

Intravenous Sedation
I had two trial medial branch nerve blocks on my lower spine. The results were successful for pain relief so I am now ready to consider a nerve ablation. My problem is that the procedure can be painful, but IV sedation is available. I am not totally sure if they would use Versed for this sedation,
