Alive, with thanks: update on nightmare
Thank you to everyone for replies. I'm still wading through them but trying to avoid spending time on the computer. I survived the weekend. Saturday night was so bad that the only thing that stopped me from ringing 999 overnight was the fear that I would be told there were no ambulances available. I

Ibrance and TMarkers
Anyone out there with 4+ years of Ibrance and with tumour markers over the normal range? I have a single mets to bone (T9) and I have been taking Ibrance and Letrozole now for 3 years and 9 months. Last month my CA 15-3 went over the normal range to 34.8, my CEA was normal. I had a very bad cold

I would like some advice from you lovely people, please. I was diagnosed with PAF over 30 years ago and since the early years when episodes frightened the life out of me, I now understand them better and deal with them in a calmer way. It doesn't make me like them any better though. I had an echocardiogram

antibiotics
ladies watch out for those antibiotics. Look up C-diff. It’s a horrible bacterial infection that can be brought on by some if not all antibiotics. It was a horrible experience. Especially with fighting cancer and low counts probably makes it worse. I was in the hospital 11 days. It is highly contagious

Nightmare with(out) flecainide. Cannot get help from NHS.
This is a follow-up to a post I made earlier this week, trying to figure out whether to take a previously unused flecainide prescription as a PIP. I was diagnosed with lone paroxysmal AF 10+ years ago (I was not quite 50) but it has not been a regular problem -- I didn't need regular meds. Due to the

Optum Rx
We have just been notified that our drug coverage is changing to this company - Optum Rx. Quite scary as they are suggesting that I get my oncologist to find an alternative drug to Ibrance which has worked for me since March 2017. I am not on Part D Medicare despite being nearly 78. I kept my private

Hello to all I now know that on the trial I decided to be on, I’ve I’ve been alloted piqray with fulvestrant shots. I had my two first ever fulvestrant injections! Wow. They hurt. But nurse put ice packs on before. And also after. What a new onslaught to my system. Here we go. I never knew the ibrance

cough
Hi Ladies, Has anyone developed a cough, bronchitis like, while taking a ciclib (inbrance, verzenio, Kisqali). I started coughing in August while in Kisqali. Took two different antibiotics which knocked it back but not out.,then I started Ibrance and the cough returned. Again two different antibiotics

Multiple arrhythmias
I have now been told by EP that I have a number of different arrhythmias which probably explains why various rhythm control meds have caused other arrhythmias and not been effective . The ablation I had earlier this year helped and i am mostly in sinus rhythm. Only taking blood thinner and sotolol PIP

anterior wall afib ablation update from April 28th
I am super excited, I had a follow up with my EP Dr. Here in Arkansas, they did tests including my pacemaker interrogation… Whooo Hooo, it showed NSR 99+%, less than 1% out, but NOT afib! Never give up, I wish I had followed Cleveland Clinic DR advice 4 years ago, following up with a 3rd ablation after

Metoprolol, flecainide and prevention?
Age 59, lone paroxysmal AF for 12+ years which I have largely ignored because it wasn't that bad. It's been 4yrs since the last major episode but I suspect I am now in low-level AF a lot. I'm guessing at this because I don't have an AF app and due to the pandemic it's been nearly four years since my

I have been in Ibrance, Letrozole and six monthly Denusomab shots for 3 years and 9 months with NEADs from the first Pet scan. C15.3 and CEA have fluctuated within the normal range since. PET scan in Sep 23 also showed NEADs. Recent bloods in Thursday showed c15.3 rise to above the normal range

I had a second ablation nov 22 for tachycardia paroxymol AF, it went very well and now off all medication except apixaban.
