Hypersensitive Pneumonitis Due to Construction Dust
He said he could help to manage my symptoms but wanted me to have a
bronchoscopy
to complete the diagnosis. I asked what other diagnosis there could be and he said there wasn’t anything else.

This led to a CT scan,
bronchoscopy
and PET scan which, to my relief, has found no evidence of cancer. They are going to repeat the tests at 3 and 9 month intervals to monitor for any changes.

My mom is on a ventilator again.
After about a week they decided to do a
bronchoscopy
. Took her off the paralytic. After the scope she has went down hill, they raised her peep to 20 and can't seem to get it back down. Now it's at 20 they can't put her on her stomach any longer.

I got my lung diagnosis after an excruciating wait, and it was a shock!
I had a
bronchoscopy
that showed increased lymphocytes but not an awful lot else that was diagnostically significant. My team were beginning to discuss some scary potential causes, such as rheumatoid related conditions and maybe even cancer.

LPR - anyone managed to tame or cure this condition?
Recent
bronchoscopy
has confirmed that it is LPR. I am maxed out on esomeprazole and from 3 weeks ago swapped from peptac to Gaviscon Advance. Also, have domperidone with main meal of the day.

Will lower dose of Nintedanib stop the terrible side effects?
After a long wait, a
bronchoscopy
and endless CT scans and lung function tests, I finally started on the standard dose of 2 x 150 mg Nintedanib at the end of February. The first few weeks weren’t too bad, my gut was unhappy and I experienced the expected diarrhoea. Took Imodium as advised.

Frustrated/Scared - Would love some advice
I was referred to the Respiratory team who did a
Bronchoscopy
early 2023 and nothing was found. I was subsequently diagnosed with Asthma due to an elevated Feno test and sent on my way. The only thing that has improved since taking an inhaler is the cough, that is gone now.

CLL in treatment and possible long Covid and managing isolation
CT scan showed "white areas" of ground glass attenuation and a "mass" in the lungs, so pulmonologist ordered a
bronchoscopy
during which he took five biopsies. All came back with nothing serious - just some 'scarring.'

ILD and pulmonary hypertension caused by sjogrens
They did a
bronchoscopy
and my lungs were so inflamed they couldn’t take a sample for fear my lung would collapse. I desaturated during op and had to be brought back. I read that sjogrens can cause ILD and pulmonary hypertension is an extension.

Daughter’s lung biopsy
A repeat
bronchoscopy
was carried out last Friday and the area is still inflamed although not got any bigger. The description was that it looked chronic. We are waiting for results of a biopsy. Can anyone relate to this, I’m obviously so concerned.
