Bone pain
Hello everyoneI'm 53 and have triple negative metastatic bone cancer. Found out when my femur fractured last October. I'm on Xeloda. My bones in hip and knee are starting to hurt more, even though my last PET scan was clear. Why is this happening?

Xeloda causing hand redness and extreme tenderness ... playing phone tag with onc's nurse
I am frustrated and feeling more vulnerable and overwhelmed than I've felt during most of my 19 year journey with MBC. On day 5 of 7 days off Xeloda, second round of two weeks on, one week off. I phoned the cancer center either two or three times yesterday and twice so far today. On top of that, I

Fulvestrant side effects
Just wondering whether anyone on fulvestrant alone has experienced any of the potential side effects listed for this drug? Not the injection itself but afterwards. I had my 4th set of shots 3 weeks ago. The only side effect I experienced after the first 3 injections was fatigue but this time, 2 days

Oncologist gives me 6 months to a year more of life
Both lobes cirrhotic, necrotic with little hope for improvement. No metastatic disease but cancer is having a field day. Onco suggested I look into combo of Avastin + Tecentriq, which present an array of side effects as a trade off to slowing down the liver degradation. Does anyone have experience with

NKX3.1 found in liver biopsy
The nkx3.1 was found in a recent liver biopsy. What does it tell the oncologist and what treatment would shrink the tumor ? Never heard of it and when looking it up it is confusing as it is in all prostate tumors from what I have read. They indicate it is a biomarker but how do you get rid of the tumor

necrosis due to radiation
does anyone have experience with necrosis in the brain due to extensive radiation at the tumor sites? I was fine for a little over a year until the necrosis developed and then I lost my peripheral vision on the right side. The treatment for this necrosis is to go on steroids to help reduce the inflammation

Side effects
I do 5 mg of prednisone 1000 mg of abiraterone and Lupron every 4 months. Prednisone has been very tough on me, I've gained 29 pounds weight in two months, the muscle cramps and feet twitching are unbearable. My PSA has come down from 24 in January to 0.84 last Monday. I saw my oncologist on Tuesday

Study of JNJ-78278343, a T-Cell-Redirecting Agent Targeting Human Kallikrein 2 (KLK2)
I know this is a long shot, but wondering if anyone else is taking part in this clinical trial: Study of JNJ-78278343, a T-Cell-Redirecting Agent Targeting Human Kallikrein 2 (KLK2), for Advanced Prostate Cancer. My oncologist is recommending as next steps.
