A staggering 68% of parents are unaware that meningitis vaccinations do not protect their children from all forms of meningitis...
Research released earlier this week shows that a staggering 68% of mums and dads are unaware of the limitations of current vaccinations against meningitis. Although great strides have been made to protect children from some types of meningitis, there is currently no vaccine to protect against

Monkey Gone to Heaven
I’ve finally managed to get a good nights sleep, but I’m still feeling quite tired and my neck is quite painful, I suppose I have quite a lot of sleep to catch up on. As I said in a previous post I was going to write about the topic of the use of primates in medical research, so one of the reasons this

Could this be symptoms of Viral Meningitis?
Friday August 5th I suddenly became sick: Vomiting, diarrhea, etc. Figured it was just a little bug so I went to bed. Woke up Saturday, August 6th feeling better. Monday, August 8th, found a rash on my chest that seemed to have appeared over night. Very itchy and burning. Over the week from August 8th-August

The Dreaded Manflu
I’ve escaped! Well, for a short while, whilst we enjoy a lovely Christmas dinner with the in-laws. Yesterday was my 37th birthday which the walking manflu didn’t realise until 3.15, no card, no present, (no Christmas present either) this has been an on-going problem since 2003 not just a manflu hic-up

Than celiac spru. And finally UV. Now I am being treated at one of the most respectable places in the world but they

A little bit down
I've been feeling quite sad, but not depressed, the last week. I suppose part of it is feeling sorry for myself, but I have been sad that my Mum can't visit at the moment because her Menieres disease has started playing up again. I usually see her every second Monday but that won't happen any more until
