New and current hope for Parkinson's Disease
Was told to follow up with a movement specialist for possible
botox
injections. Immediately he told us that her problem was PD by his assessment was placed on CL and some neuro-patch which made her zombie like in her appearance and behavior.

Help finding Botox post please...
Hi, I read a post on here where a person described how their
Botox
injections to help with opening eyes only worked if they had the eyelids or eyebrows injected, I cannot remember which it was; it would not work if both were done.

I had
Botox
last Wednesday, for the pain in the sphincter due to a fissure and proctalgia fugax when i go to the loo. I had
Botox
a few years ago and it worked, and lasted for ages. However this time the pain when i go to the loo is worse than before, and I don't seem to pass much.

yes, it helped me from going to the ER weekly (level 10 migraines), but I still had daily migraines with it. Avoiding all forms of dairy and pasta made in the US has been a life changing event for me.

Has anyone tried botox injections and/or trigger point injections to the pelvic floor?
I've had multiple
botox
injections into the anal sphincter with no success and healing my pain. Although I feel the pain in my anal sphincter, the fact that the
botox
doesn't work on it suggests to me that the pain is likely referred by one of the levator ani muscles.

Shingles again , so over this! Thinking of getting the vaccine- do the shingles vaccines work ?
I never fully recovered, I still wear an eye weight to keep my eyelid closed at night, and have regular physio/
Botox
treatment to help with pain. I saw my gp last week and discussed if I could get the vaccine even though I don’t fall in the correct age bracket.

To the person asking about wheelchairs., Our daughter who has PSP is 52. We got her a "Rock N Go" its great. works fine for her. Linda
She has
Botox
in her arms to help with loosening her hand muscles. It is slowly helping. My husband and I work with her hands every day. She stands with help to get her into bed. I hate that she went through hell with the PD meds for all those years.

Decent checkup....
Today I had
botox
injections into my left arm. Before the treatment Dr Bortan noticed I had less stiffness. She asked how I was feeling. I commented that I finally found the 'sweet spot' for the Rytary treatments. I'd found that five hours after a treatment my double vision comes back.

alternative treatments
Specifically things like acupuncture, neuro physical therapy, eye-brain training, homeopathic, natural supplements, neurofeedback,
botox
. Would like to know which helped and which had no effect.

One for the ladies - can you have Botox? ( SVT - not sure if i am AF awaiting investigations)
I am hoping to get some
Botox
done for a friends wedding. Had it done before diagnosis with no issues. Fast forward now on Flecainide and Bisoprolol… will it interact with my meds and could spike my HR … i am not going to get it done if I end up in SVT or with some type of weird flutter …

Filler and Botox
Anyone receiving filler or
Botox
that has a APS? Currently on Lovenox and my hematologist nor my injector is willing to advise on how to move. Don’t want to take a rest if I don’t need to

PD and Botox in Urethra
On Wednesday, my pwp was given a
Botox
A injection into his urethra to stop spastic urine out put. Has anyone received this treatment? If this doesn’t work out, doctor is recommending implanting catheter in his navel which will collect urine and the port changed out monthly by a nurse.
