Was taking topiramate, now on propanol and having
Botox
injections in my head. GPs I have found to be very dismissive of the amount of pain you feel and symptoms.

sharing my 2 cents...
A friend in group had
Botox
done in Boston. In 3 days, fine. But ever 3 months must redo. Another friend in group has had 2 DBS surgerys , 1 each yr at Lahey in Ma. She't great, 1 pill a day from 10 and no problems. So we've seen a surgery done on cd and the science to great.

Does anyone know why you can't take Imigran/Sumatriptan while pregnant in the UK?
I usually have
Botox
but obviously haven't been able to have that for over a year and I'm on 40mg ( down from 150mg) of Amitriptyline which my neurologists has sanctioned. I have chronic migraines amongst other things.

Coming up for air
Two weeks ago she had a
botox
treatment in the hope that it might help her open her mouth more. So far there has been no change, but we were warned it could take up to three weeks to have an effect.

Thyroid, head aches
Is having treatment for chronic migraine at neurologist dept but no pain meds have had any effect, nor have the six
Botox
treatments. GP agreed to bloods re possible hypothyroid as he has lots of the symptoms associated low temperature, always cold, balance, chemo and others.

Never again...
I had
Botox
done 3 years ago for my migraines. I had every possible side effect so this did not work for me. I walked into Emergency a month after and was sent home being told I had the 1% bad reaction. 3 weeks ago I had a Grand Mal seizure. Doctors think I had a stroke 3 years ago.

How do I live better with Dystonia?
The
Botox
just isn't working well any more. It has really hit me hard that my life has become about my pain and altered life instead of the fun in life. I just feel so defeated. We will go on a cruise soon and I was looking forward to it so much. We have never had a vacation like this!

Botox Injections.
I will carry on using it as it is the lesser of the two evils, however, I have read on line about a study that is being carried out in America using
Botox
injections in the legs with encouraging results. Does anybody have any information about this, as it does sound a very interesting issue?

Achalasia
I was diagnosed with Achalasia and recommended to have a
Botox
injection in the gullet. All prepped up for procedure, had a chat with a doctor and told him, although others seemed to view my condition as troublesome, I had said all along my symptoms were not severe.
