I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer 3 years ago ,this was followed by a lumpectomy and several weeks of radiotherapy.12 months ago l was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and prescribed levothyroxine 75mg.

After many more visits to the GP with severe body pains back, legs, feet and loss of muscle l have been diagnosed with MGUS which l have been told is a precursor for blood cancer.

Is anyone familiar with this condition?

Thank you.

I read this: "MGUS causes no symptoms. In fact, monoclonal protein in the blood is often found by accident when doing other routine blood work. Most people who have abnormal proteins in their blood will never get worse." Re your symptoms, I would suggest you visit the thyroid group in this website as hypothyroidism is quite often under-dosed and you can get very knowledgeable information there. healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk/
