Vinpocetine regulates levels of circulating TLRs in Parkinson's disease patients 2019
I started today asking "what can I remove from my stack?" And of course, now I am probably adding to my stack: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/328251573_Vinpocetine_regulates_levels_of_circulating_TLRs_in_Parkinson%27s_disease_patients As close as I can tell, it looks like the dosing was 20

Effects of safinamide on REM sleep behavior disorder in Parkinson disease: A randomized, longitudinal, cross-over pilot study 2021
CC clued me into this. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34373044/ Results: Twenty-two of 30 patients reported clear improvement in symptoms during safinamide treatment, and 16 were absolutely free from clinical RBD-symptoms at the end of the treatment. Eight patients reported slight improvement in RBD-symptoms

Update on hubby
Just an update on how hubby is doing. He is feeling better than he has been for years! Something seems to have had a positive effect and he is positively energetic and laughing and talking and back to helping with housework, and joining in with the family. He has even got into our spa pool with me that

New here - what should I discuss with my rheumatologist?
Hi :) I've been watching this forum for a while now and already have seen so many great posts from a knowledge point of view, but also in knowing that I'm not alone! This is my first post and I'm wondering, in your experiences, what should I discuss with the rheumatologist for my initial consultation

Hi
Hey everyone. It's been a while since I posted & things were good for a while. My doc and I decided to stop my Lamictal, and while everything has been going smoothly my health anxiety is getting bad again. Mostly due to Covid & my fear of death. This last week has been especially hard because I work

Allodynia has become a joke.
So I have suffered with Allodynia on my head a long time and I have adapted to its pain when resting my head on a pillow, washing my hair, wearing a hat etc BUT now its burning my scalp from...sweat! That's right, whenever I sweat from my head it burns me! It's the hot season in the UK so as you can

Hi All Some advice appreciated please. I started my PMR journey almost 4 years when I was 49, and after a couple of bumps along the way am now at 1. 5/1mg of Prednisone using the DSNS method. For a couple of months or so, I have been experiencing returning stiffness in my hips, thighs and shoulder blades

Is this clinical depression or is life just that bad?
I am not diagnosed with anything, One of my friends beat the other to death at work, I was the manager then and her son called me to ask who killed his Mom. My wife that I truly loved and served betrayed me so horribly and still denies me the truth of it all. The courts destroyed me wrongfully, to their

Accuracy of estimated fetal weight?
Hi All Am 35+2wks and my growth scan today estimated a jaw dropping fetal weight of 7lb 13oz! (now!). Knew we were expecting a big baby but that was way higher that we could imagine, with >95% abdominal circumference. But I also know these estimates can really over egg it (a friendās actual baby weight
