Robitussin for chesty cough, ok to take with AF?
hi I’ve had chesty cough for about a week now and hoped it would go away without taking meds but it won’t! Chemist has advised taking Robitussin so I got some but before I take any, I wanted to ask if anyone else who has AF has taken it and is there any danger it will put me in AF? I take Solotol

Cannot seem to “get it together” — what is the best avenue for meaningful improvement?
My father struggled his whole life with many things including
bipolar
disorder
and unmanaged ADHD and did not seek nor receive the help he so desperately needed; he died by suicide 5 years ago. I want to take a more active approach in protecting my personal health.

Medication assistance
I've finally decided to try medication again for my anxiety. Although acceptance and CBT have been helpful, I feel like this is the right thing to do at this point in my life. Has anyone tried and had success with BuSpar? My Psychiatrist wants me to take 5mg before bed and in the morning. She also prescribed

I am due to start EMDR next week. I have put it off for quite some time for one reason or another but I finally feel brave enough to start this. Anyone else on this journey? Or any success stories? My therapist thinks I have lots of little traumas mostly including health and death and believes this will

Unlocking the Maze of B Complexes: A Handy List for Safe Dosages and Bioactive Vitamins
It can be quite challenging to find reliable B-complex supplements that are safe in terms of dosage. Additionally, it is advisable to opt for bioactive vitamins for added safety. To help each other out, I have started compiling a list categorized into low, medium, and high dosages of B6 and B9, which

This is my first post and I really don’t know how or where to start. Any suggestions would help.
I have depression and ptsd. December was a very lonely time for me. No family left and I just moved to a new city and I’m having a hard time finding my place. I have two dogs that give me great joy. Thanks for reading.

Pure misery, trying to avoid emotional eating/binge eating
I posted on a thread a while ago and got some very helpful comments and messages. I'm two weeks on. I am doing better eating wise : I'm making better choices and taking things one hour at a time. The problem I am having is being so desperately unhappy with my weight, especially the fat around my middle

Yes, I agree, ADHD needs a new name!!!
And while I’m at it, can we think of a better name for
bipolar
disorder
??? Not everyone with a diagnosis of
bipolar
disorder
is violent or an alcoholic or drug addict!!!! Tired of all this stupid stigma going on. When does it end? People are not labels.

New to dialysis; CKD caused by lithium
In 1982, when I was 19, I was diagnosed with
bipolar
disorder
during my first few months of college. While hospitalized, I was placed on lithium, having had one major depressive episode and one significant manic episode. Lithium seemed to work pretty well for me.

Anyone experience insomnia since starting pirtobrutinib?
About an hour after I take it, I feel like I drank a triple espresso. At night it is causing insomnia. So far this is the only side effect except some nausea after my morning pill. My lymph nodes have gone down slightly. White count went up 5000 points in the first week, but interesting enough, my

Great video on healing a "leaky gut" and I found this probiotic to be the best deal on Amazon!
For myself ... I believe my PD-like symptoms is from my "leaky gut". And, fortunately after more than 2 years of self-diagnosis --- my various symptoms are still very, very, very mild. My neuro/MDS is Dr. Bozo who said after my exam: [i]"The good news is that you don't have Parkinson. The bad news

Tips and Tricks for Panic Attacks
I’ve been through CBT, grounding, self visualization, etc. I know about rubber bands on my wrists to snap, 333, breathing exercises, sticking my face in ice water, aromatherapy. Are there other methods people are using to help get over active panic attacks? Just want to help each other. Thanks

Stormy weather but we get through.
With a certain reluctance i once again laid on a New Year's Eve party, my heart wasn't in it and wanting to be anywhere but in my home, will anyone turn up in the atrocious weather?. I cooked a ham, turkey and beef stroganoff, assortment of cheeses and various sweet concoctions. 30 were invited but

neurofeedback therapy?
I've just had an ad for neurofeedback pop up in Facebook feed. And there is a clinic in the city where I live. I am wondering if anyone has any direct experience with this... or maybe a friend who tried it.

I was diagnosed 4 years ago with relapsing remitting. In the MS community no one ever talks about lesions black holes or myelin. Why!
After my initial diagnosis on my next visit I asked my neurologist how many lesions I had. He said “ I don’t really know. This guy is one of the most renowned neurologists in the world. I said, how long have you been doing this? X years. Then what does your gut say? He said in between 50 and 75 but
