Hashimoto’s Hypothyroidism and Chronic Pancreatitis
Then in my 50’s I had the left side of my thyroid removed because of a fine needle
biopsy
done on nodules in the left thyroid that came back suspicious. At my follow up appointment the surgeon said I had Hashimoto’s.

Improved screening for prostate cancer.

Looking for some advice on Rheumatology referrals...
Eventually we got a letter confirming her Lupus diagnosis from dermatology who had done blood tests and a skin
biopsy
when she was having a bad flare up. Since then she has been to the doctors several times with problems relating to her lupus.

So we'll see where this goes, and for all I know he might not even order a
biopsy
and just re test PSA at some interval.

Onc. wants to do a needle
biopsy
, then radiation but reading up on this, IF it shows a Chordoma, radiation is only done AFTER surgery and a surgical team should be standing by ready to go if it is a chordoma as the needle will spread it immediately and it's hard to treat.

He found a growth on my rectum that he has sent for a
biopsy
and I am due to have mri scan in next couple of weeks. I just feel so worried as I tried to probe him as to whether under his professional opinion he thought it was polyps or cancerous but he said he couldn’t tell.

My baby was diagnosed with mastocytoma
However, having now read extensively about this condition, I am concerned that he has not done any actual tests (like a
biopsy
), that he cannot know whether it is in fact benign just by looking at it and that he has not advised on any allergy risks or indeed any risks.

recent diagnosis
diagnosed with adinocarcinoma two weeks ago, and waiting for
biopsy
results from mediastenoscopy. I first went to my GP last December with symptoms, and although I have had X-ray and scans I’m quite angry it has taken this long to begin to get a diagnosis - approx 9 months.

Could cancer be diagnosed by doing a liquid biopsy? - study
Obtaining
biopsy
samples via needle, endoscopy or surgery can be painful and sometimes risky, and imaging methods such as MRI or PET scans require costly, bulky equipment that is not universally available.

I had a TT in 2016 due to severe Hyperthyroidism and an inconclusive
biopsy
etc. I have endured the ups and downs of getting medication levels right over the years (thanks mostly to gleaming advice from this group) and felt that eventually i seemed to be doing ok on 150mg of Levothyroxine.

Doctor cannot fully diagnose without bone marrow biopsy and PET scan?
He is giving me the option for a full body PET scan and bone marrmarrow
biopsy
to get a definite CLL diagnosis. I am most likely going to move forward with those 2 tests. Can anyone tell me their opinion? I appreciate your time!!
