When do hot flashes end once ADT is suspended?
I was on ADT (Eligard) quarterly injections from January 2021 to November 2022 (two years). I am still experiencing the side effects of frequent hot flashes, low energy levels, weight gain, etc. I would just like to know when I might expect the hormones to have been "flushed-out" of my system and my

Biopsy Week
This week my husband will do a routine blood test as well as a
biopsy
on Thursday. I'm praying for the best as we embark on this journey. I am scared of what the
biopsy
might show but I'm hopeful for the treatments that may come.

Hello everybody and Merry Christmas
I had a
biopsy
of the lymph nodes in my back whilst inside a CT scanner and they wanted to do one in my spine but the consultant doing the
biopsy
decided this was too risky. PET scans and a
biopsy
of my hip also followed.

cutaneous lupus
My daughter has (we think as no one is sure!) cutaneous lupus which affects her skin. Her regular flare ups result in very painful skin lesions which blister and bleed. She is under rheumatology and dermatology and after two years still not found medication / immunosuppressants that works and shes seen

You are what you breath - but what you breath varies...
But given my smoking, an incident caused by Hitler in 1943 and that childhood asthma my breathing was not good. 2006 and a
biopsy
revealed emphysema and a side dish of bronchiectasis, probably the result of scarring during the pneumonia episodes. (my theory, btw).

muscle and ADT issues and questions
A question about side effects and Zoladex (goserelin) - I am into the third month of Zoladex and two previous months prior to this on Bicalutimide (casodex) following a MRI and
biopsy
Gleason 9 (T2cN0M0) last august after HIFU for G7 only 8 months prior didn’t stop PSA rise.

Swelling after biopsy (following penile cancer and circumcision)
To check the cancer hadn't spread I had lymph node
biopsy
. Thankfully that came up all clear but that was 11 weeks ago and I still have swelling.

Is it too late for Triplet Therapy? (4 months on Elligard already.).
That MO also dragged out any treatment beyond initial Elligard injection for two months waiting for a bone
biopsy
that she ultimately ignored the results of. Anyways, diagnosed 08/11/2022 and received 6 month Elligard injection 08/18/2022, so 4 months now on just Elligard.

Biopsy Questions
Biopsy
questions: I had been on the site a few months ago inquiring about surgeons in SoCal after my first MRI. Took a bit of detour and changed urologists. I wanted a transperineal
biopsy
with a local, and he was looking towards transrectal or TP under anesthesia. Nahhhh. Decided to go with Dr.

2 weeks post Surgery
Also noted, originally I was thought to have Gleason 8 (3+5) from
biopsy
but after the pathology report, that was shown to be a 7 (4+3), so not quite as high risk as first thought. PSA scheduled for mid March. Time to celebrate at least for the moment. Thanks to all who contribute to this forum.

Post biopsy doctors visit
So yesterday me and my husband had our post
biopsy
visit. The doctor confirmed the diagnosis of IGA nephpropathy. He is going to start him on Losartan 50mg twice a day to lower his protein output. He will take a blood test again next month to see how he is doing on it.
