Has not been too bad since surgery . Most of the pain was gone in 3 days. Getting the Catheter removed was a big relief. Urinary issue has been ok with improvement and some control, maybe 50% back already. I'll take that as a good sign. Not worrying about ED for several more weeks
Received the pathology report several days ago and everything was negative with no disease anywhere! I am a realist and am aware there could still be cells floating about but don't think I could have asked for a better report, that was the quote from the Dr. Also noted, originally I was thought to have Gleason 8 (3+5) from biopsy but after the pathology report, that was shown to be a 7 (4+3), so not quite as high risk as first thought. PSA scheduled for mid March. Time to celebrate at least for the moment. Thanks to all who contribute to this forum. I can't tell you how much it has and will continue to help.

That was a hard decision. I was on the fence 2 days before the surgery on which way to go. I had a Pet PSAM a week before surgery and all came back clear so basically rolling the dice in Surgery.
If surgery didn’t work I’d be in radiation soon enough. Also was not wild about 2+ years of Hormone Therapy.
Had mine 4 years ago and it has worked out fairly well for me. Some incontinence, using tri mix for erections and PSA has been doing a creep but not quickly enough to worry yet. Congrats on your results and my best to you! I did lose size because I did not know about size loss so take care of it now.
