Cough, chest pressure, GCA
I am being treated for GCA, but had a negative
biopsy
. I am now taking 40 mg of prednisone and will drop to 35 mg tomorrow. My first rheumatology appointment is May 16. I am in no pain but I am very fatigued and I continue to cough, especially when I speak, and have chest heaviness.

Update re RA and associated Colitis
Yep it's colitis following colonoscopy
biopsy
results. They are of the impression it is microscopic colitis (associated to auto immune diseases) but not 100% sure. So the handle is unspecified colitis which is a common saying. Treatment is steroids.

Incredible Pred Tale
He had the
biopsy
as he was losing his sight (which is now fine).Back on 60mg and now down to 2mg already. He expects to be totally pred free this summer. I can't believe his experience and he can't believe mine as still on 2mg after 8 years!

Joy in response to frustrating news
I had a bone marrow
biopsy
to see if I was at uMRD and could come off my second CLL treatment in 5 years. The tests were sent to the wrong location and after hours of run around treatment on the phone to get it sorted, gave up.

The next step before treatment is to get an updated MRI and
biopsy
since the previous are over a year old. Any thoughts are appreciated! Paul

A clearer picture
The
biopsy
confirmed my breast cancer diagnosis. I had to push for information as the pathology results are incomplete. So now I know I have a stage 2 invasive carcinoma, hormone positive. Cancer type to follow. I've been referred for an MRI.

Beware of Lansoprazole
I had an endoscopy and it was discovered that I have multiple polyps in my stomach due to taking this drug long-term and now have to have them removed and also awaiting
biopsy
results. I was never told of this possible side-effect and am so angry. Please be careful.

Hemithyroidectomy
I was sent to Endocrinology in October 2023 where I had an ultrasound followed by
biopsy
. The nodule was solid with internal vascularity. I returned a week later for the results but the
biopsy
results were inconclusive due to too much blood in the sample.

My liver
biopsy
last November came back that my cancer mutated from HER2 low to HER2+. I have started THP because of it. I saw my MO yesterday who told me that my molecular study is not showing the HER2. So I have 2 contradictory tests!

Hello friends. It's me again. Bone Biopsy + Dr. nonsense.
Bone
biopsy
revealed Es+90-100%, Pr+50-60%, her2 still (2+ and sish) pending, ki67 now, 15-20%. Eribulin started in Oct, working great with markers down to ca 27Jan2 and 2588 for 15.3. This is what bothers me -bone scan on the 11th, poking around and causing havoc on my iliac, they took 3 samples.

What is done in this case ? ADT not working
In may of 2011 the PSA and
Biopsy
showed that I had an agressive cancer with Gleason 8 so my prostate was extracted and after this I received radiotherapy.
