Over eating then being sick 😔
Hi , I am overweight but I yo yo diet . At the moment I'm on the eating diet 😔 I know I have a problem but I've never been to the Drs about it or ever talked about it really . I get very obsessed with food , using it as an emotional crutch I suppose. I'm sure you all know what I mean . But for instance

Never too old to keep fit!
Have just spent a couple of days with my trim 84 year old mother and her slim childhood friend also 84. We took them walking, all kitted out properly in hiking boots, and they happily walked and chatted for a 3 mile woodland walk, stopping only for our sandwiches in a lovely riverside spot. Not only

Calorie Limits
Ok so I put my height and weight into the Bmi calculator on the nhs website and it said I could have 1700 calories per day to lose weight. I downloaded an app for my phone and put the same measurements in and it said I could only have 1200 per day! How confusing is that! I'm sure at 1200 calories the

Hi I have been taking Targinact and Oxycodone for years, along with various other pain medications for CRPS and Fibromyalgia. Now the Pain Specialist want me to get off these drugs, as they could now be doing more harm than good. However, I am expected to do this on my own, with no medical intervention

Feeling Motivated!
Hi All, Yes I'm feeling motivated and determined!😁 Well I got on the scales Monday to note my starting weight,(couple of pounds extra than expected tbh!) but hay-ho, lol, Then I got the ole tape measure out n jotted down the figures on paper! I'm sure my tape measure must have stretched? lol.

I have done it!
I think I'd just had enough of being a
binge
eating
and overweight depressive, who was always tired and fed up of looking crap in my clothes. Well, that stuff is a long way behind me now. I think the running made me want to eat better, so I stopped bingeing on junk.

First time here
People keep telling me I am not fat and are surprised when I tell them my weight. I coach, play and umpire netball which takes up most of my evenings and I walk quite a bit at work. However, this morning I got on the scales and was not impressed so I checked my BMI which is 27.1 so I need to do something

Week 13
This week: weight change -5.5lbs waist change 0" 1748cal/day 117min/day activity A strange result, but I'm not complaining. I didn't do the gym because my knee was playing up. Just cycled to work nad did some stretches and weight at home each evening. I had lost all the weight by Saturday morning,

Goals and motivation!
Bad habits have crept in, biscuits with drinks... crisps in my lunch box....
binge
eating
chocolate and savoury snacks. The more time I have on my hands the worse I am. Eating in front of the telly in the evening has become the norm. So what to do ? Sort my lift out !

Strap in, it is going to be a bumpy ride...!!
I am going to make sure this is not going to be my most recent failed attempt at loosing weight. I weigh just over 20 stone but unfortunately am not the 11'7" that my bmi chart says I should be, for that weight to be acceptable.... apparently for my height I should be half the person I am....!!!!

I'm back...
It has been many moons since I posted but with the news today that if you diet for a year your body adjusts and you will keep the weight off, it seems like a good time to check in. I've now been on this healthy eating kick for a year. My original target was to lose 10kg so that I would be eligible for

3 miles or 30 minutes
#1 3 miles or 30 minutes Before trainer Kit Rich became a Pilates instructor to the stars (and healthy-lifestyle ambassador for brands like Lucy), she was just a woman trying yet another crazy, extreme, or unhealthy diet in order to lose weight. Starting again
Hi, I have some weight to loose not sure how much as I am having a scale debacle. I've bought 3 scales all say different things! However, I am sure if I could choose it would be the lessor amount of course. I started again, my first week last week. Was really looking forward to my weight in on Sunday

I am healthy, but still have some problems with my body image
Hello! I am not a native English speaker, so excuse my mistakes. I used to be anorexic in my adolescence, but now I am OK. I've maintained healthy weight for 3 years and my BMI is 18.5. I mostly fine with my body image and don't feel fat anymore, but I am still struggling with some problems: 1)I still

Just got to end of first week. Was 15 stone 2.8 pounds last week, and 14.stone 11.8 today. 5 pound? Can't believe it! Thanks everyone, I have never used a forum before but have found it really supportive . It has reduced the sense of isolation and helped with my motivation. I tend to give in/give

Feel sweaty after work out 😁
Hi just done a 10 minute exercise work out and for the first time I had sweat around my forehead is this a good sign that I'm getting better or is it I'm getting worse? Been on 100mcg of levythoxorine for 9 weeks. I also have had 2 days with very little anxiety too but did have a night sweat last night
