Tumor stress
I can’t get out of my head that I have a tumor. I have body twitches constantly. In my face, arms, legs. Just discovered that if I press on a certain part of my lip, it’ll hurt my head past my temple, like nerve damage? I haven’t had any issues. I get headaches like I’ve had them the last 5 years. But

So I finished the book...
I didn't know what to expect, maybe a primer on running and PD. Lots of aphorisms similar to Just Do It and Git 'er Done. Learned that standing is more difficult than running because it uses more dopamine. And Steve Evans was the first marathon finisher to have had DBS treatment. He finished

Do Probiotics Actually Help?
Hi everyone! I’ve struggled with IBS for two years now and thankfully sticking to mostly a LOW FODMAP diet helps. But I’m curious if anyone has noticed a significant improvement in taking probiotics as well? Can you recommend some brands please? I’ve been on and off taking probiotics because I get nervous

Hi, has anyone had orbital decompression surgery
Hi everyone, I had orbital decompression 2 years ago and I still have numbness on both sides of my face, my eyes still wobble as I eat and they've become increasingly sensitive to light and I often feel as though I have something stuck in my eye (like a hair) but the reality is, there is nothing there

Fighting as much as I can
For the past couple of days, I have been determined to flip the script. Instead of assuming the absolute worst about any weird things in my body, I choose to think the absolute best. It has been going well honestly. But tonight I got/have this awful headache. Which because I have a fear that I have

Shingles and cll
I have been on ibrutinib since aug 2019 and now that things have opened up a bit my sister was going to come for a visit. Only problem is she now has shingles. If we eat outside and she uses the downstairs washroom are we ok? I have had the shingles vacine...but then again so has she and got it anyway

Rice researchers create tiny, magnetically-powered neural stimulator
It seems this could improve DBS. https://www.news-medical.net/news/20200608/Rice-researchers-create-tiny-magnetically-powered-neural-stimulator.aspx

Ticks/Lyme disease and hypothyroidism
I have just removed two ticks, two others broke off and the mouth part remains stuck in me. I have seen things on here before about ticks in relation to thyroid, but have never read them because I’ve never had one attached before. I presume I need to see a nurse to get the remains removed? Will it be

Anxiety. I'm taking this win.
For the past five days, I've had this fear that I have a brain tumor, due to bad headaches after I had a cold and neck pains. Today, depsite being much better, the headaches seemed to have moved to the front of my head and I feel a little weak and nauseous. I don't if I do or do not have a brain tumor

Anxiety Spiraling Out of Control
Shakiness. Nausea. Trouble breathing from the noment I open my eyes to the moment I go to sleep. It feels like I’m drowning, despite my oxygen saturation reading 100% on my oximeter. I wake up and the feeling is immediately there with me. Lungs feeling tight, chest heavy and sore, throat closing sensation

This probably sounds narcisistic as hell. But 2020 was going to be my year. I had soo much plans of how I was gonna blossom and relaunch myself and then boom. Corona. Losing finger and toenails
I've been on Afinitor for 18 months and have lost one big toenail, and have started losing the other one. All of my fingernails are also separating - most are about halfway. Anyone else experiencing this? Anyone have any success in treating this. I'm taking biotin but have not used a nail strengthener

Is there a limit on Dopaboost intake?
My dad is on a surgery waitlist for DBS here in Canada (probably next year) and we could potentially do FUS in Switzerland... But in the meantime, we have been trying to figure out the best dopamine sources to help him on the daily. Mucuna is much more effective than his Sinemet, which barely works anymore
