Dose increase advice
Morning All. Can I have some of your collected advice on my T4 dosage, please? I was on 100mcg/day Aristo taken at 04.30 with just water. I'd been on that dose for 9 weeks and I was in 75mcg for a couple of years prior to that. My recent private results confirm how I feel (= awful joint pain, insomnia

I haven’t posted in a while, but wanted everyone to know I had my DBS surgery .
It was a lot all at once but so far with the programming everything is going well. Definitely taking less meds.

Distraught, but Angry
Yesterday terrible, horrible neurologist appointment, to the point husband exploded 3mins 10seconds, any longer neurologist would of been dragged over table. Why; Arrogant Horrible Text Book Neurologist could not understand why my husband was not in vegetative state, blatantly stated: the past 19months

Brain tumour or csf leak or IIH
I’ve posted quite a bit but I’ve still got real bad anxiety over my current situation. After 3 months of head pressure constantly on top of my head I had a CT scan which showed an empty sella and a sphenoid sinus issue. I’m seeing an endocrinologist a neurosurgeon and an ENT and all 3 say it could be

What if DBS played the same?
“Using computer simulations, Tass and his team discovered that a patterned stimulus that vibrates at a frequency of 100 to 300 hertz (cycles per second) can desynchronize neuron-firing.” I think **desynchronized** may be a poor choice of a word – (Calming the) neuron-firing might be better. Now what

Does dizziness eventually disappear for good
I had a totally unexpected benign brain tumour removed in its entirety in December 2020 and have recently been scanned by an MRI machine and all is well. My condition was called a haemongliblastoma in the cerebellum of my brain. I have been fit and healthy all my life.

MY DOCTOR SAYS I AM DUE FOR DBS. THIS REALLY SCARED THE SH.......... OUT OF ME. PLEASE HELP! I NEED YOUR ADVICE.
I am a young onset non tremor dominant PWP,in my fifties, on Rytary and I have reached the stage where my medication does not work well like before anymore, a stage where it has become very unpredictable, whether I will get "off" period or dyskinesia, unless I increase my medication dosage. However

DBS - what if, stimulation was a symphony
DBS - What if they played a symphony (Say HFS of 140 Hz and LFS of 70 Hz at the same time), A tone Generator playing at 140 Hz and a second playing at 70 doesn't sound bad, And, for fun a 3rd at 35 (turn volume of 35 Hz down to 18%). But, I am not sure I would want in my head 24/7 !!!!! Back when I was
