Hi everyone. I've not been on here for a long time. I'm at my worst ever at the mo and just feel so down and low. The pains are constant, I cant sleep, sleepwalking is back again. I know this whole crappy situation isn't helping anyone right now and we just have to learn to live with it but why should

Betaine and Pepsin- does it work? No response to treatment
Hello All, Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Day. I managed to eat a little of what I normally can’t eat. I paid for it 😂 I wanted to ask if anyone has tried Betaine and Pepsin and what was the result? Did anyone’s reflux and any other symptoms such as cramps, stomach pains, etc eased or disappeared

Post Circumcision Problem
I am using
Betadine
liquid gel for it ( as doctor suggested). But on 6th day I found that the gel is passing under the skin by stitches ( or maybe upper side of the penis ) and there is liquid lump there. Please anyone tell me is there any type of risk of Infection?

How to get a better sleep after circumcision
You might try the same and see how it works for you: Take gauze bandage and dab
Betadine
solution on it. Once it is wet, wrap it over the penis. You will get a nice cold feeling and the wet gauze will also help in keeping your penis in position.

Does betaine hcl help?
I really want to improve my digestion. Lately I have tried betaine hcl with no success. When taking a pill after lunch, I get very anxious and have a slight pain in my stomach. Why do you think this happens? What were your results with betaine hcl?

Betaine with pepsin or PPI?
So I was diagnosed with a Hiatal Hernia and GERD ( Barretts) on Friday after getting a scope. The gastroenterologist wants me to start taking PPI medication to reduce acid. My research leads me to believe that us hashi sufferers more than likely suffer from low stomach acid. Im thinking of ignoring his

Hi everyone, I'm new on this forum (although I registered in July). I want to share my story since I'm looking for some help and advice. Don't mind my poor English skills but I'm not used to write in this language. I'm 30. It has been years of feeling unwell and sick but two years ago my health started

Should I decrease Levo after first week with t3? Lab results
Had Graves and total total thyroidectomy 2014. Was on 100 Levo and felt ok ( maybe oversubscribed with Tsh 0,5 and t4 always in the upper end) until 2 years ago when I had a lot of stomach issues due to stress and anxiety. Now when I supplement with betaine hcl and digestive enzymes it’s so much better

Nutritional therapist and supplements...
Hi folks I recently went to see a nutritional therapist, as I've started following Isabella Wentz' Hashimotos Protocol but was not sure I was getting the nutritional side of it right. The NT was helpful in this regard, but has also suggested a load more supplements which I'd like to get more opinions

How to stop heartburn/GERD
I've been on 100mg levo for about 14mths now. I take Vit D and iron supplements (tummy friendly apparently) and feel well..... except for fact I now get almost daily attacks of GERD. I've done the baking powder test and feel quite convinced I have low acid issues. I take apple cider vinegar and Betaine

Hypersensitive Head and wounds. The incision has a solid white puss formed
I change the dressing atleast 4 times a day after cleaning the wound with
betadine
but nothing is helping out my doctor said everything will be healed in 2 weeks. I'm unable to keep the wounds open to air due to its hypersensitivity.

Ketamine
Has anybody been given ketamine before for depression? I had a doctors appointment today and she suggested that might be where we’re headed if it keeps getting worse for me. I always thought ketamine was a sedative, is it a common drug for depression?

We heal differently
Biggest mistake I made was to listen to lot of noise about what to use to get healed fast...if you have an infection....see your doc...in my case...
betadine
was recommended for the infection i had....remember...we heal differently if you are older....I'd recommend taking at least 10 days leave.
