PSMA PET/CT scans.
No.1 scan showed 2 spots. After Radiation second scan negative but PSA rising from .15 to .7 over 6 months. How many can I have in a year? Other accurate scan alternatives?

Castration resistant in just a year? Normal or not? Provenge in my future.
I'm already "mildly symptomatic castration resistant." PSA tripled in the last 30 days (but still extremely low), after doubling in the prior 3 months. I was diagnosed with stage 4b (mets in multiple bones and nodes) ductal and started ADT 13 months ago. Nubeqa and Docetaxel (Triplet therapy) started

Radium223 has not been a success, is Enzalutamide a good next option?
Stage 4 PCA for last 3 years. Had 6 cycles of Chemo and then Abiraterone for 18+ months (PSA dropped to 0.2 then more recently rose to 58 in June '23 ). Abiraterone eventually stopped working and I was able to join Radium 223 trial. Completed 5 of 6 cycles of Radium 223, then elected to stop since

Orgovyx with BAT Questions
Hi fellow BATMEN! I have questions on should i need to take Orgovyx continuously during BAT cycles. Orgovyx 120mg/day lowers T 57% by day 4 and 97% by day 15 with a loading dose of 360mg. Orgovyx once T is suppressed below 50ng it takes 49 WEEKS to move above 50ng. https://www.orgovyxhcp.com/efficacy

Is HT Treatment necessary after Orchiectomey?
Its been a while since I sent you gentlemen an update. I did go for Keytruda, started it in March of 2022, but stopped in September because of pretty significant skin reaction. My PSA went from 3.31 in February 2022 to 0.09 3 months ago, so it definitely worked. In the meantime I have gone through with

Looking For Prostate Cancer Survivors For Friendship And/Or Dating
I am a 65 year old prostate cancer survivor of almost 10 years. I did have a small scare during COVID and had to undergo 36 radiation treatments. There was no metastasis and there has been no indication of cancer metastasizing since. My PSA has been 0.04 since the treatment ended. I know it sounds weird

how statins slow growth of prostate
Cedars-Sinai Cancer investigators have found that lowering blood cholesterol enhances the action of immune cells, slowing the growth of prostate cancer. (Clinical Cancer Research: https://doi.org/10.1158/1078-Q434.ccr-21-1535). It provides a rationale for large-scale clinical testing of using cholesterol

PSA for PCa Awareness month
There's an App called Nextdoor and they're pretty much in all the cities, even this lil town. I posted on it for men to get screened as a Public Service Announcement for PCa Awareness Month. Many don't know that it's in September, but a whole lot more know that October is Breast Ca Awareness month.

Provenge criteria necessary for acceptance.
Apparently Medicare will pay for Provenge provided we are castrate resistant and metastatic. But are there other requirements like certain PSA parameters and lower testosterone levels? Do we have to remain on ADT while being treated with Provenge?

GS8 in one core Brachy boost and no HT
Six years ago I was diagnosed with PC. Only one core of 13 showed GS8 ie. 4mm in a 10mm core. I wasn't willing to undergo HT and fortunately that was optional at BCCA with my PSA of 5.2 and only one core with cancer. I had all the side effects like fatigue, frequent urinating and the worst being the
