Surrogate is 9 weeks pregnant but measured 2 days behind at 7 week scan... should I be worried?
Hi everyone, so after 15 failed embryo transfers in my own body, we moved onto surrogacy. By some miracle our surrogate fell pregnant on our 16th transfer but her FIRST. Hcg numbers were great and she has been suffering every day with morning sickness, which obviously I wouldn't wish on anyone but it

Heart Attack Journal #2
I really didn’t think I’d be back here again. After my first MI in August 2019, I really thought that the medication I was on would prevent a repeat of this. However, 3 ½ years on, it’s happened again. Seems that I’m in the small minority (less than 2%) for whom the standard medication doesn’t prevent

Waiting for Holter test for 8 months for abnormal ECG
Hi,In my 40s I had a heart scan that showed a PFO but was reassured it was an incidental finding. I'm 56 now and after having palpatations last summer ( 22) I had an ECG that showed abnormal repolarization. My GP referred me for a Holter monitor test and I'm still waiting 8 months later ! I've contacted

Just diagnosed with Atrial fibrillation
Hi I was diagnosed with A-fib a couple of weeks ago via an ECG trace on my Kardia mobile. I am now on Apixaban 5mgs twice daily and Atenelol and have been advised that an ablation is the best way forward. I only have had 3 episodes to my knowledge and so it paroxysmal but makes me feel pretty unwell

Worried!
I started experiencing palpitations last year and didn’t worry too much. They seemed to start after I had the Covid jab followed by Covid itself. I went to my GP several weeks ago about the palpitations. As I was taking a low dose antidepressant ( Citalopram) with a PPI, my GP arranged an ECG. In the

Cardiologists reports required
What reports am I actually “entitled” to have access to (NHS Scotland)? I’m not under the direct care of a designated Cardiologist, only general Medical review at local hospital (and GP). A 24hr ecg suggested Atrial Fibrillation and flutters. As a result an EP study / Catheter Ablation discussed

Chest Pain Clinic
Went for my appointment today at the chest pain clinic after my suspected Unstable Angina attack on Easter Sunday. They did an ECG, took my weight and height and then I spoke to the Cardiologist. After going through my medical history and asked about what I do for a living he's told me that as my ECG

9dp5dt lack of line progression
I'm 9dp5dt and although today's test isn't morning urine, my day 5 and 7 positives were afternoons too. Is this going to be a chemical? 😩 the only hope I have at the moment is that the day 9 is a little bit darker than day 7. I have my hcg bloods tomorrow so I'll find out the numbers but has anyone

Since my episode of severe chest/back pains and sickness last week and a trip to A&E, I’ve been feeling queasy after food. I’m not eating big meals it passes after a few minutes but I’m scared to

Cardio performance abrupt decline
Currently on Orgovyx for the last 18 months with very little side effects due to wrestling, lifting weights and hiking. Then suddenly four days ago, only a block from the beginning of my daily 2.5 mile hike my energy unexpectedly ran out. I pushed forward another block assuming I could shake off whatever
