To Trial or not to Trial?
I have decided not to trial. Going to just do the Venetaclax & Obin protocol. I’m just not in the mood for the extra appointments and brain damage that invariably comes with them. I’m waiting for a start date. Had the bone marrow biopsy and endless other tests this week - decided not to peek at the

Oesophageal Diverticulum
Hi everyone, I have a small but quite symptomatic hiatus hernia and I'm feeling a lot of discomfort in the upper left side of my chest, much further to the left that one would expect the oesophagus to be. I've had an endoscopy and barium swallow and I've been told that I have a small mid-esophageal

Crippling stomach pain, etc. post C/T Scan, Iodine contrast, etc., M.E,/MCAS reactions?
Crippling stomach pain, etc. post CT scan, iodine contrast, etc., M.E,/MCAS reactions? I have been having really bad stomach pains, reflux, etc for some years now, but got worse since L/C, but especially since Celluitis 2 months ago and the awful Flucloxacillin x 2, 48 tabs in all. I had a C/T scan

Barium Swallow
Now the doctor wants me to have a
Barium
Swallow
test
to find out why I am having trouble swallowing. It is obvious its a nodule causing the problem pressing on the tube. Has anyone else had to have a Barium Swallow? I really need help please as I am sure this is not a normal route.

PGAD relief tips
Hi all, I am reaching out to see amy tips you may have for relief? Currently lasts 24 hours a day, worst is at night but never goes away. Its very distressing and I cried again today as am just so exhausted. Have seen a urogynacologist and am now trialling HRT patches (hysterectomy in 2018) plus estrogen

Swallowing difficulty, have to chew meds.
About a year ago, I began getting my thyroid meds stuck in my throat. All my other meds, vits and minerals, being much larger, seem to go down ok, as they seem to have sufficient "weight" behind them. My magnesium capsule is the size of a suppository 🤣 and I can swallow that without a problem

Anxiety again
Well it’s been a hard two weeks. My GAD has flared again. I’ve been climbing the walls again. I think the past year and a half has caught up with me. I’ve been pushing my limits for a long time. With my operation and recovery, going back to work too early, my sister ‘s stroke and running back and

PLMD and withdrawal
Three weeks ago I stopped (after tapering slowly) gabapentin. I have also been reducing morphine sulphate from 8mg by .01mL every 5 days for the last three weeks. PLMD off the charts. I take 2mg lunesta every 3 nights -- and not more -- in the hopes of not getting addicted. Those nights are better

I’ve recently had a really bad bout of neck spasm, following a General anaesthetic for a bladder distension for interstitial cystitis. I think the anaesthetist was a bit rough with my head extension! ( I’ve had 3 neck fusions, the last was in 2009. Am fused from C3-T3 posteriorly and from C3-C7 anteriorly

Pelvic floor therapy after menopause
Hi, I am in the US, so a few things are different, but I am looking for help. I have MS, and I have muscle tightness or spasticity in other places as well as pelvic pain and tightness of my hip flexors. When I the hip pain worsens, so does the pelvic pain. I found a specialist who wants me to use vaginal

Dangerous Supplement. Mucuna Pruriens. Dangerous side effects you must know.
Unregulated, no quality control, and may contain toxic poisonous contaminates. Lead, heavy metals, mold, fungus etc. Dosage is impossible to manage. Counter reaction to carbidopa levodopa is unmanageable and unpredictable. Makes combining it with real Parkinson's medications a night mare. Maybe just

Wake up please and you will understand.
Last year I was a mess, my ocd hit high levels but alot of that was because I came off valium cold turkey and it gave me a massive physical and psychological major major battle, that breakdown taught me alot my friends and I hope this will serve you well. I suffered and still do at times when stressed

Stormy weather but we get through.
With a certain reluctance i once again laid on a New Year's Eve party, my heart wasn't in it and wanting to be anywhere but in my home, will anyone turn up in the atrocious weather?. I cooked a ham, turkey and beef stroganoff, assortment of cheeses and various sweet concoctions. 30 were invited but

My 80 year-old dad with MPCa, broke his leg and now seems to be giving up. Advice on best anti-anxiety meds desperately needed.
Dear PC family As you will see from my profile my dad in England has been on his prostate cancer journey for five years. He was doing well until March, still actively farming though fatigued, and was due to start Radium 223 in April. Sadly, he broke his leg on March 12 in a fall, was put in a full-leg

Problems, problems, problems
I take Sinamet, Losartan, and Quietapine before I go to sleep, and after 2 or 3 hours, I wake up and realize that I have Parkinson's, which I forgot while I was sleeping. I'm now awake and in the dark, and the fears of everything threatening me begin to affect me. So I turn on the light, go into

Scared. Mind is racing. Mom needs heart surgery.
I've posted before kind of on this topic but since I've become more agoraphobic and neurotic and shut down and hiding in my house. My mom needs heart surgery. She is my best friend. She is 82. I am 47. I don't have a partner or kids. I have a brother. He helps sometimes but he isn't completely emotionally

SPECT scan horror
I had a SPECT scan after first does of Pluvicto. I had no idea how horrible a scan could be. There are things that project out to get as close to you as possible. I have had many CT scans MRIs PET scans but this is different. I do have a bit of claustrophobia but never felt this horrible before. They

Upper airway obstruction on spirometry?
So I have had a history of rhinitis/polyps for the past 14 years, it is treated with daily nasal steroids/(drops if bad) and an antihistamine- though all allergy tests have been negative. About 2 months ago (after a period of anxiety it so happens) I had been using the steroid drops and started to
