Help with getting diagnosis
Hi, I'm not even sure if I'm in the right place but I'm becoming increasingly desperate to find out why I'm in pain so much in my pelvic region. I'm sure I have endometriosis but both laparoscopy and mri clear. My periods started when I was about 12 and were always extremely painful and heavy. I

Curious... some of my symptoms have improved a lot since a 3 day water fast last weekend. And, my ESR dropped "back to normal" (doc)
My history: I was diagnosed with PMR at the end of May. I'd developed stiffnesss and pain in my pelvic girdle overnight during Xmas week gone, 2018. Then beginning of May or so I woke with two 'frozen' shoulders which developed a lot of pain and I couldn't turn in bed. I was diagnosed at the end of May

I was told by the consultant nephrologist

Came off the coil to try to conceive, and PMS symptoms without contraception are knocking me for six...any tips?
Came off the coil to try to conceive, now on my third period, and each month I am completely drained, having to leave work early, can't keep my eyes open, having extreme heavy bleeding and bleeding through my clothes (on tranexamic acid to help with this ), my mood is also terrible (of course!) š.

IBANDRONATE- CHEST INFECTIONS.
Hi I would be really interested to hear from anyone who has been treated with IBANDRONATE either in the past or present and had either reoccurring chest infections or Pneumonia. The reason I ask is because along with other side effects, I suffered the above when being treated with IBANDRONATE for 3 years

Popped into GP practice yesterday to pick up my scan results and arranged a telephone consultation for today, my T scores are: spine -3, right hip -2, right femeral neck -2.4, left hip -2.1 and left femeral neck -2.1, so GP is putting me on Alendronic Acid once a week

On methotrexate and pred, have been exposed to fungal skin infection. First aid advice please.
Hi I am currently on 23 mg pred and 25 mg methotrexate subcutaneous and I'm doing fine. But today I had a visit from a very dear friend whom I've not seen in ages. His skin on his face looked like the results of bad sunburn, red and flaky. Later in conversation it comes out that it is a fungal infection

Following a course of IV steroids over 3dsys ,I was prescribed alendronic acid . I have since declined to take due to side effects as am already on enough meds . So Far, So Good
Hello, It's been a week of daily CBD oil capsules (30mg). It is recommended that the dose for beginners is around 10mg working your way up from there, but I was never one for gradual. Go Big or Go Home! I held my expectations in check maintaining the observers perspective on the effects and was

Biphosphonates and oral thrush.
Nine years ago I had 3 years of Ibandronic acid 3 monthly injections. Whilst on them I suffered with blood blistering of the soft palette and down the throat. I also had reoccurring oral thrush. I was also diagnosed with thrush in the gullet. The bone specialist said it was nothing to do with the injections

Is There a Benefit of Addition Docetaxel, Abiraterone, Celecoxib, or Zoledronic Acid in Initial Treatments for Patients Older Than 70 Years?
New study below [1]. I can't recall when the United States Preventive Services Task Force [USPSTF] advised that men who have reached age 70 should not screen for PCa. But knowing that the life expectancy at age 70 is close to 15 years, & that PCa incidence increases with age, I thought it was bad advice
