Heat or Light Therapy
Does anyone use Infrared heat or Red Light Therapy (RLT) and has it changed anything for you? I have not tried either one. I do use the sauna after each swim workout: ice cold shower, 15 min sauna, ice cold shower, sauna, shower. This really shocks my system and I feel that it is helpful to really

Regret going to group therapy. Overwhelmed, another day wasted and money wasted. Why do all my attempts to get help backflip?
So i had a crisis some days ago and texted and old therapist that i loved. Told her it passed but now I'm wondering whether to go to group therapy. She said i deside but maybe it could be beneficial. At the last moment i went. Late. Saw people who just didn't feel right. Much older than me and with different

HDR BT Salvage Therapy
Hello All I just completed the second BT procedure at MSK. Pain level was maybe 3 but mostly gone the next morning with some soreness. My next step I’m told is bloodwork in 3 months which I’m not concerned about. I am concerned about the 6 month MRI which could show if any cancer still remains. When

Tasigna off label for parkinson's disease. What happens when the smallest kid on the block gets run out of town. Time for a vote.
Hello People With Parkinson's (PWP). I started this post two weeks ago. It wasn't worth the effort so I deleted it. I was hurting at the tim, my levodopa tank was running on fumes. I reminded myself that if I couldn't be cured I would try to make it easier for the next person. I am in my

Bio Feedback
Has anyone had success with biofeedback? Our son is 13 and had dyspraxia, he can't locate his pelvic floor so as to engage the sensors at the hospital. Anyone have any suggestions on what we could do? We have 5 more sessions (4 hour round trip plus appointment) so it would be good to try and make

Parent of Adult child refusing change
my adult daughter who is over 40, single and cannot hold a job, is constantly late, has difficulty with cleaning her spaces, delays her medical care, etc... and cannot support herself. She refuses to apply for benefits and is extremely resistant to behavioral therapy relying only on her medication

intensive group therapy as outpatient
Any care to share if it was a positive or negative experience? I start Friday. It is victual for 3 hours , 3 days a week, up to 18 in the group. Never done it before. Feeling skeptical, frightened, and want to get something out of it.

I don't seem to have much in the way of symptoms. I took motion classes but they said you're fine, come back when you have a problem. I took acupuncture sessions til they said come back when you have a problem. MY problem is the neurologist wants to take my license. I failed a driving test that didn't

CLL - Next Generation Sequencing
I'm curious about Next Generation Sequencing for CLL. To my understanding, this type of test identifies resistant mutations, i.e., NOTCH1, ZAP-70, SF3B1, etc., and this can help your doctor to determine a targeted therapy that's more personalized. Not sure I have this correct so hopefully someone here
