I have had GCT 6 times in the past 10 years. I have had been treated with chemo, and Avastin but keeps coming back. So tired of fighting
This crap! Anybody else have this many reoccurrences? Feeling a little discouraged. Everytime I have surgery it takes longer and longer to heal. I have pain from a lot from all the scar tissue. Just hoping to connect with someone else who's had many reoccurances.

I would stay on the gemzar/
avastin
while taking new med. I had a reaction to the cisplatin? so have been taken off it. Has anyone else used this , and what were your results? The paper work she gave me for the new pill is med speak and sounds like research material .

after effects from avastin
Hi everyone my first post on this very supportive site. Does any one have any experience of how long side effects last. I seem to have quite a selection from my 17 courses infusions; three with chemo and 14 stand alone and finishing 5 weeks ago. I know the half life of the drug is quite long but wonder

Avastin
every 3 weeks.

Any one using Bevacizumab (Avastin) for cervical cancer?
If so could they contact me and let me know how they are getting on? Has anyone been given this for other cancers and how are they finding it. Any good results?

FEELING LET DOWN BY EMPLOYER
Having been diagnosed in 2007 with OC I had a radical hysterectomy followed by standard chemo and a trial for
Avastin
. Fast forward to Nov 2011 and a return of the cancer in my pelvis.

I have asked her about the chemo she offered carbo/caelyx and asked about
avastin
she looked up the information while I was there and has agreed that I could have carbo/gem
avastin
and keep carbo/caelyx as a option for another time.

Cancer Drugs Fund in Wales - or Lack of it
I was denied a drug
Avastin
by my local health board - Cardiff and the Vale NHS Trust. My oncologist then suggested a clinical trial at the Royal Marsden that would pay for it - a total care cost of about £34,000 all provided by the clinical trial and therefore a saving to the Wales NHS.

The joys of Avastin and Gemzar
Went for check up to oncologist yesterday to find that after one round of chemo and
Avastin
my CA125 is down by over 25pc. I am very happy with that. Today went for 8th day Gemzar to be sent home. My white cell count was too low.
