Reoccurrence during chemo?
Diagnosed stage 3c OC two months ago, debulking surgery already done, finished 2 of 6 rounds of carbo/taxol/
Avastin
chemo. No cancer left to the naked eye save for a 4 mm mass under my liver.

Update on the pleural effusion
Meanwhile, they're keeping me on
avastin
because the doctor says it is helping. I'm hoping this means that tissue growth will respond and start shrinking.

Since being diagnosed in November of 2017, when she was only 48, she has never been out of treatment, suffering through Carbo/taxol and
Avastin
, then Carbo/Caelyx, straight into weekly taxol. I met her through this forum when we discovered that we both lived in Bath and had the same Oncologist.

First reoccurrence .
So, until we know what the plan is I’ve decided not to tell anyone at the moment - our family has had to deal with some pretty big stuff recently.I have been researching treatment options for a first reoccurrence and am wondering if anyone has had
Avastin
with or without chemo at this stage and how

When I was diagnosed
Avastin
was THE maintenance drug.Due to research many more maintenance drugs have been licensed, especially Parp inhibitors.Ive been on Parp (Olaparib ) since Jan 2016.

NICE submission - your comments on olaparib and bevacizumab (Avastin) needed
Hello All You may remember I posted a while back about a submission we're making to NICE about making olaparib and bevacizumab (
Avastin
) available in combination as a maintenance therapy.

Stage 4 advanced ovarian cancer
Doctor mentioned chemo after surgery and
Avastin
can help to destroy remaining cells. Do you have any idea about this condition? I am too worry about remaining visible cells. The size of them is about 1-2 millimetre

Still getting symptoms after 6 infusions of Chemo; abdominal pain and groin pain swollen stoma, anyone possibly shed some light on this?
I’m continuing to have
Avastin
at the moment. But I’m worried that these symptoms have spread and are not subsiding at all.

exam without costly OCT scan?
I am opting to use
avastin
@ $100 instead of Eylea due to cost differnce even though i hate that it is preloaded in a silicone lubricated syringe. I had stopped using that when I read of possible silicone leakage into the eye.

Here we go again - again!!
One of the trial drugs was
Avastin
which I had in 2017, but as my tumour is troubling my bowel, I am not allowed to have it again. So I have to see my team on 31st and will be starting chemo (probably Carboplatin and gemcitabine - any advice welcome) in the New Year.

Back from London, tired, but hopeful
So after yesterday morning when I woke with the feeling that the ascites was back and therefore the Caelyx and
Avastin
were already not working and feeling my sell by date was getting nearer, to yesterday afternoon with someone telling me the opposite you can imagine my mood is great.

Feeling very lucky
I finished chemo in April last year and
Avastin
in January. Will have a blood test in six months just before my next appointment with her no scan unless bloods look iffy.
