Avastin mandated as first drug to try by my insurance-caused silicone floater
I HAVE to try
Avastin
first due to my insurance mandating a "proven fail"...for each eye. I have to try 3 injections. The first one for my right eye gave my a permanent silicone floater the shape of a comet directly in my line of sight.

Cloudy vision after avastin injection
I had my fourth shot of
avastin
last week and for the first time I am experiencing cloudy vision. My doctor examined me and said nothing is serous. The cloudy vision is coming fron the gel of the eye which has been disturbed by the injection, said it will settle down.

Excruciating pain immediately after eylea injections - no betadyne
Nearly a year of
Avastin
injections and two years of Eylea injections, no betadyne being used the last two years because I could not tolerate. Now (the last 4 inections) I have excruciating eye pain after the injection and last time a few minutes of no vision at all in the eye.

Unbearably itchy arm from PICC. PICC taken out. Getting a Port put in. One more carbo/taxol then Avastin for 1y. Good choice to get port?
Hi ladies. Iāve had a bit of trouble getting cannulated for my treatments. First treatment took 5 attempts to cannulate. Other infusions only took one go but I was advised to get a PICC due to my small veins. I only had the PICC in for four days before I had to get it taken out again, it was unbearably

Hope
Avastin
is a drug that is used for brain edema, and can essentially take care of it within 4 doses. Comes with a possible large price tag. So we will consider. But if we can get him off steroids which the
Avastin
will allow; that re opens the door for the immunotherapy that could save his life.

My OC returned despite being on maintenance
Avastin
after major debulking surgery and total hysterectomy. It's in my stomach lymph nodes, on my bowel, liver, peritoneum and omental area. I was told I might have another five years if the carbo and Caelyx work enough, so I might reach 56.

Dilemma with specialist protocol
Opthalmologist referred me to a retinal specialist whom I have seen every 4 weeks for the last 5 years for
avastin
-eylea injections and now wants to see me every 6 weeks. My dilemma is the referring opthalmologist still wants to see me every 6 months.

Trying to cope.
And decidedly disappointed with my stupid body and it's stupid reactions to the
avastin
. It's been over a year since I've been on it and I am always, always tired. Bone tired.

Feeling deflated
oncologist this morning I asked about cisplatin along side the gem since I can no longer have carbo, but she said Irish protocol does not use cisplatin for ovarian cancer, I then asked about second look surgery which she said my gyne doctor would not do, so she said the only option left is Taxol and

First post, 3rd recurrance
I first had ovarian cancer April 2017 when I was diagnosed stage 4 and had 6 cycles chemo (3 drugs - carbo, paclitaxel &
avastin
I think) with surgery in between. I found out I am BRCA1.

Help needed please. First recurrence. I'm so scared.
Avastin
continued until May of this year. I had a CT scan this week as ca125 up to 71 and saw oncologist yesterday. She said I have some fluid around one lung and a bit of fluid in the peritoneum. The plan is to start carbo/caelyx on the 17th and then Olaparib (I'm BRCA2+ve) if I respond well.

It has returned
Tomorrow I will be returning to the hospital to drain my stomach and then it is back to chemo (Carboplatin and Cylex) and
Avastin
- just finished chemo at the end of July was not expecting it to return so quickly - quite depressing.
