HIPEC surgery and Avastin for one year any similar case?
Doctors are suggesting if possible a surgery called Hipec, wich involves hot chemo directly in the peritoneum, or
avastin
for a year My marker CA125 went down fron 744 to 22 after this las chemo.

Scanxiety Series 3 Episode I (?)
He’s easy to talk to but I can’t help thinking about the time back in 2015 when I had to explain to him what
Avastin
was! The hospital delayed my lung drain and chemo during the pandemic to the point where I was so ill I nearly didn’t make it. Urrrrgh! Do you have any words of encouragement?

Avastin...hmmm
I was then put on
Avastin
. I've been on
Avastin
since January 2022, so I am currently in my 9th month of taking this drug. I have had my fits & bouts with
Avastin
. Unfortunately it has really wrecked havoc with my Blood Pressure, & me Spilling Protein in my Urine.

Avastin Infusions & side effects
Hello everyone, I've been on
Avastin
+ Tecentriq infusions since 2/21 & doctors say the infusions are working. I have had all the side effects listed & take meds for HBP & high collesterol. However, I suffer fatigue everyday & lack of motivation to go out of the house.

Chemo not working
They are offering her
Avastin
as her last chance to get her to surgery. However the potential side effects are scary. I haven't come across this scenario and wondered if anyone else had poor iniital chemo results and, if so, what was the next step? We could really do with some good news!

Infusions and side effects
Is there anyone who has undergone the
Avastin
(immunology) infusions, who stopped them because of the side effects, but not at the instigation of the oncologists. It was their own decision. Did they experience serious consequences from interrupting the infusions?

Stable disease
Today the consultant said her ct shows no improvement and ca125 has dropped only slightly, but no worsening of disease and has adopted a wait and see approach, she has ruled out parp but will put her on
avastin
and taxol once disease progresses.

Should I reduce dose of Olaparib?
Because I am HRD I am being given
Avastin
3 weekly and Olaparib 300 mg twice daily. Unfortunately I am struggling with side effects. I get tired very easily. I have a very poor appetite and struggle to maintain my weight of 62kg.

EFFECTS OF TREATMENT
Just a quick question - have any of those undergoing treatment with
Avastin
experienced bite like skin eruptions that don't seem to heal (dry but similar in look to an ulcer), problems with hearing and excess mucus?

hi I was diagnosed in 2017 stage 4 and had usual chemo and debulking surgery followed by
avastin
. Last scan just showed enlarged lymph node in mediastinal area of chest. 20mm in size. Ca125 is still 7 and all bloods are good. Feel fit.

Lymph nodes
Have had 1st line chemo (carbo/taxol and
avastin
) and debulking surgery. Then I had 3 cycles of
avastin
; Due to CA125 rising rapidly I had a PET scan which shows cancer in the lymph nodes. This weeks
avastin
was cancelled and I am now waiting to start caelyx.

Avastin and Olaparib
I am obviously pleased that I don't need to take
Avastin
any more, but, at the same time, I feel anxious because there is no clear evidence as to whether it is the
Avastin
that is keeping me stable or the combination of both
Avastin
and Olaparib.

Cortisol test for Adrenals
Hi there I have had PMR since 2016 and have gradually decreased my prednisone to 4.5 mgs. I have been on that for about 2 months. Dr has agreed to order a 9 am cortisol test for me because I read on here it was easier/better than a synacthen test. I gather from Dr Google that I do not take my usual

Hi there, my mum has had 2 infusions of
Avastin
and although seems to be tolerating it well she has developed a really sore mouth and eating is really painful. Can anyone recommend anything to help and does this settle down as the treatment progresses? Thanks in advance for any advice.
