Has anyone on here been on
augmentin
for infections? What were some side effects you went through?? Also I'm sorry this is all over the place, I just tend to ramble and go all over the place when I'm anxious and in my head

Overcoming Pneumonia Susceptibility
At the hospital tried various antibiotics
augmentin
, zocyn, doxy, levoquin, vancomycin, etc. Sometimes it is like that...... when you have to throw something up on the board and hope it sticks. I had previously been vaccinated with Prevnar 13 in 11/19 and Pneumovax 23 in 11/20.

COVID, Pneumonia and healthcare
After 3.5 days of Paxlovid (halted due to drug interactions), I completed five days of Molnupiravir (antiviral) and eight days of
Augmentin
(antibiotics). A visit to the Emergency Department two nights ago confirmed both COVID and pneumonia.

Dog bite not on my Xmas list
They cleaned again and gave me a first dose of
augmentin
. I had a tetanus shot in 2020. They did not recommend rabies treatment. I called my hematologist office and talked to the after hours doc and they didn’t think it was necessary either. There are punctures but don’t seem to be too deep.

I was diagnosed by colonoscopy with diverticulitis in 2019 - and have had about one mild bout a year - treated with a 5 day course of
augmentin
(antibiotic).

CLL and probiotics
Hi all, I am currently on Amox/Clav aka
Augmentin
for a diverticulitis attack. Usually, I'd take a probiotic concurrently. But I see some indication that CLL patients must be cautious with probiotics. I am currently watch and wait, stage 0.

Lori, NURSE
Long story short, we BOTH THOUGHT it was a flu, but since I had a 106.7 fever, she put me on
Augmentin
. Another several days went by and I was still sick as a dog. By now, I've gone from 120 lbs to 108. They dragged me to the ER. The Dr. Tried to DC me, since he "couldn't find anything wrong!"

I need to take Augmentin - Has anyone used this without issues?
Augmentin
is the one I am looking at right now as the bacteria is sensitive to it. Question: Has anyone here been able to tolerate this antibiotic while they were treating their B12 deficiency and were the side effects manageable? Did you take it while your nerves were still repairing?

Denied medical care because of GCA and Actemra.
I saw a 2nd ENT who put me on
Augmentin
.
Augmentin
caused a bad attack of vertigo. Ended up in ER. ENT referred me to a surgeon. Surgical consult is January 17th. If BP keeps on going this way I may not be here on January 17th.

Diverticulitis treatment and CLL
I've asked the doctor if she could prescribe something else and she prescribed
augmentin
, but it is "not the drug of choice." Not sure what direction to now take.

Anaphylaxis from Augmentin (amoxicillin) after pneumonia, no previous penicillin allergy.
I read in the
augmentin
leaflet that there can be a rare interaction between pneumonia and
augmentin
causing anaphylaxis and wondered if anyone else had experienced this? I am in London, UK and am 42 yr old female.

Drug induced liver disease
The consultant took one look at my blood test results and said he was pretty sure I had been put into liver failure from the
Augmentin
I had been prescribed. I had another week in hospital and then sent home with oramorph to take if I had anymore pain.

Recurring Chronic Endometrisis, anyone else had problems getting rid of this?🤯
💊New antibiotic treatment= 14 days of
Augmentin
and Flagyl (metronidazol) I had a IVF cycle a few months later last fall (with vaginal probiotics) which resulted in a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks.

Pain in legs and arms
He thinks maybe an infection so he started me on
augmentin
. My symptoms are headache fatigue, swollen lymph nodes, nausea and fever. Just the past two days i have developed debilitating pain in my legs and arms. I did some wood stacking a few days back and at first i thought it was from that.

Any advice would be great
I gave another specimen of sputum in a week later and the proteus was still there so I was started on a month of
augmentin
. Another specimen this week showed that proteus mirabilis is still there and the only advice I have been given by the respiratory nurses is to keep going with the
