Ativan

Im currently prescribed ativan. But was wondering if anyone here has found benefit in it like i do and klonopin benefits.

I take ativan to help have had to take .25mg everyday for the past 4 days. My doctor said i can switch meds if needed to another SSRI. Anyone have success with an anti depressant besides zoloft or any recommendations? Any input would be appreciated.

I have to take ativan in order to function or leave the house. I just want to see if anyone experiences the same for reassurance. ...

Is anyone taking ativan long term? Sorry for the long post. I just had no where else to turn.

I’m currently on Prozac (have been for years) and now this month Ativan .5 2x a day so I am able to be a mother and work. If anyone has any reassurance🙏🙏

I take zoloft 50mg currently, only been on like 2 weeks and ativan as needed.

It’s been a long time since I’ve written but I’m excited to say that I’ve been Ativan free for 3 days, 4 if you count so far today. It’s been a long journey but it’s been so worth it.

Fulvestrant (I think it may help brain fog though I’m on Ativan, Zoloft & Ambien—any advice; can’t seem to sleep even after meds (obviously, as it’s 1:30 AM PCT)!

I didn’t need to take my Ativan for 2 weeks. Now I’ve taken it every day or every other day for the last 10 days.

I may end up taking an Ativan today. I think it would be the first one since May or June.

I called in to work and I’m home alone, I feel nauseated and have cramps from PMS, I started Prozac a week and a half ago and I feel no better and I take Ativan which also is only getting me down today. I took Midol and nothing seems to be shaking this mood.

The ativan, even in a higher dose than I'd normally take, is not working anymore. I've mentioned this to my doctor 3 times. Should I bother bringing it up again? I'm still having a lump in my throat, shaking and heart thumping even after I take it.

The occasional Ativan they prescribed for moments of absolute panic seemed to clear up the funk but after a day I’d just feel miserable again; So low in fact that I had to take LOA from work until my head felt straight again.

And lately I’ve been take Ativan as need (the last two days). I read Zoloft works the same way without the addiction as the benzo. I just started the buspar today but read it’s not as affective and takes longer to work...

I have been doing fairly well, I haven’t taken an Ativan in 8 days, I’ve been working on riding out my anxiety attacks/dizzy spells without medically stopping them. But then my uncle passed away on Monday, unexpectedly.

I went back to my doc and started back on effexor and ativan to get me through until effexor kicks in. She told me she thinks I also have PTSD. As of right now a week and a half into meds the panic attacks are getting less severe but the anxiety and the DEEP depression is here.

Then I have my first ever panic attack and end up getting diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder that I can't get to go away, so I try antidepressants and Ativan. They seem to help some.

I know zoloft has side effects but thats mainly why my doc prescribed me lorazepam/ativan. Anyone have good or bad experiences with these medications?

Yesterday she did not take the Ativan and did not feel dizzy. I want to get an overview of the drugs they have her on. She has been manic depressive and the lithium they put her on cause the kidney disease according to the doctors.

Just curious, does Ativan give you energy? I have wondered about snorting it??
