Treatment update
I’ve been posting here for about six months, but I am always uncomfortable about posting personal updates. I wonder whether I am bragging, whining, boring people or some combination of the above. Regardless, I enjoy reading the experiences of others, both positive and negative. I personally think

F18 PSMA-1007 PET/CT Scan - Result
I previously posted about this scan and wondered about it's value. I had a rising PSA after robotic prostatectomy in April 2016 with a Gleason 4+3+T5 & pT2C, clear margins, appeared organ confined. PSA climbed continuously since the procedure with current PSA of 0.87 with doubling time of 5 months.

Update to my treatment & A question
Recently switched Treatment center to A small Huntsman affiliated clinic in Rexburg Idaho. The first thing they did was to order an Auxuman Scan and the results were so good they stopped my ADT2 treatments to try & help my QOL and energy level. Advice please!
I was diagnosed with BD about 2 years ago after having the flu which caused a very severe flare up which left me in hospital for a week on morphine. I was told it may be herpes (which I was actually happy about as I knew there were treatments for this and was very common) however, after many tests they

So Confused by sudden worsening of Asthma
Hi, I've had Asthma as long as I can remember. But I've always gone through most of my life feeling like I haven't had it because it's been so mild that I haven't even needed a preventer inhaler... until 3 months ago. I remember being out with my friend and feeling suddenly wheezy. Now, bear in mind

Second Recurrence now at PSA .5
RP in 2011, first recurrence and subsequent IMRT in mid 2015. Second recurrence (PSA .2) August 2017. I have not had any medication (hormones, chemo) in the 7 years I have been fighting. Learned this morning my PSA is now at .5 so I assume will be having the PSMA pet scan done at Hopkins Baltimore to

Dizziness after stopping Clenil (brown inhaler) after 1 week of use..
Hi everyone, First time posting here and need to ask a question. Doctor put me on Clenil Modulite 100 (2 puffs twice a day) for breathing issues and it immidiately made my breathing worse. I carried on for exactly 7 days before deciding to stop completely. About 3 days after stopping I started feeling

Muscle pains on change of Asthma Reliever
Hi I'm new here. My story is that I was originally diagnosed as asthmatic when I presented with an uncontrollable cough. Many years and many tests later it transpires that I actually suffer from bronchiectasis and acid reflux. Exercises prescribed for the former (no other cure) and omeprozole for

Need help with Lupron question
As some of you know I’m Gleason 3+4. Will have TURP in August and then 28 sessions of proton therapy starting in November. My close friend was diagnosed 4+3 shortly after. He’s being told by 3 oncologists (IMRT/proton) that it would be best to do 4 months of Lupron plus the radiation. Other testing

Intermittent ADT criteria and rules
I know from past posts here, and reading many articles and studies, that the criteria for starting and stopping intermittent ADT (IADT), or doing it at all, can be controversial. Those posts from a search I did here, have been read. Sorry for rehashing the topic, but now the possibility of it is more

My IMRT decision.
Last summer during a regular annual physical which found an asymmetry hardness on my prostrate and trip to urologist with subsequent biopsy that showed a Gleeson 4+4=8 in one sample and a 4.4 PSA. After consults with several different types of oncologists, I decided on IMRT (radiation); 45 treatments

Completed Salvage Treatment
Now we wait and see. Last shot of Firmagon went in on Monday (total of 7 treatments) along with 40 IMRT sessions to the prostate bed. Hoping for a lengthy remission, but only time will tell. Overall the side effects were OK, dealing with some proctitis that kicked in at week 7 and is continuing 3 weeks

Clenil modulite difference between breathing in the 50 and 100 in toddler
Hi there please does anyone know or had this when their toddler inhales the 50 dose it makes them cough more than the 100. I’ve tried it and can notice how harsh it is and I’m asthmatic so take the 100 dose daily. Thank you
