IMRT delay? Significant?
I am presently in my 2nd month of ADT (Firmagon), and as a result after 1st month my PSA went from .16 to <.01 (undetectable) and T from 128 to 19. Clenil with dose indicator vs 'classic'
Does anyone else struggle with the new Clenil Modulite brown inhalers, which feature an indicator on the back showing the number of doses remaining? Finally All Mets Zapped!
Whew, just completed 28 RT session. Finally got my mets zapped. Been wanting to do that as it seems to be a treatment consistent with men here having long remissions. 3 sessions each of SABR to 3rd rib, 6th rib and iliac bone mets. 28 sessions IMRT to para-aortic lymph node string. That’s all that

Had Radiation and adjuvant ADT for 16 months now what?
I am 74 years old. I was diagnosed in Apri 2019 with PCa, Gleason 10, at a PSA of 250. A Ga68 PSMA Pet Scan showed there was no spread or metastasis visible. However, it was the considered opinion that there would be mets in the lymph nodes nearby which were too small to be visible on the PSMA Pet Scan

Why did they let me off the ADT hook so easily?
Well after a year on ADT as part of a clinical trial at a major center of excellence, I met online with the RO today for a follow up (I had 37 treatments of IMRT in February). Previous to that I had RP in June 19, pathology showed Gleason 4+3, ECE, seminal vesicle invasion and 1 of 12 lymph nodes positive

Decision Time is Coming
I was diagnosed in August 2018 - PSA had risen from 5 to 16 in 6 months.- the imaging showed some lymph node involvement (the radiologist said one node - but my oncologist thinks 3 to 5) but no bone mets - I started Lupron in November 2018, IMRT in December 2018 to early Feb 2019 and added Zytiga in

Erleada without ADT?
Had IMRT to prostate and pelvic lymph nodes in Dec 2015. PSA in August 2019 was 0.15 but dramatically rose in August 2020 to 2.42. Previously been through 3 short cycles of ADT between 2012 and 2016, with intolerable effects on my QofL. With my rising (but still low) PSA, I've been thinking of asking

any thoughts about Davallia formosana for PCa?
My curiosity is based on: Emerging Therapeutic Activity of Davallia formosana on Prostate Cancer Cells through Coordinated Blockade of Lipogenesis and Androgen Receptor Expression https://www.mdpi.com/2072-6694/12/4/914/htm Brief except from summary: "We further showed the potent therapeutic activity

Nervous about Axumin MRI results
RALP 4/14; ADT & IMRT 2-3/2016 Low PSA but doubling every 6 months: 0.5; 0.8; 0.18 Plus severe lower back & cervical pain. Only after I pressed him, did the urologist order the test, which is tomorrow. Uro also dismissed my saying it is time to get a medical oncologist! Wonder what would be next steps

Just an update on this journey
In July, after 28 months of ADT, I asked if a vacation would be appropriate. Side effects of ADT have been significant, and since PSA has remained undetectable for over 2 years, I really want to try to feel like a live human being again. Exhaustion, hot flashes, and generalized muscle loss have been

Just finished first meeting with radiation oncologist. What he proposed as next steps
Given my PSA of ".38" 22 months following robotic radical prostatectomy and with a "low risk" Decipher RP score, I had my first meeting today with a local radiation oncologist (Dr. Michcael Ray - ThedaCare Cancer Center Appleton Wisconsin). I have my first call with a urologist from an academic hospital

What's Next?
Ten years ago surgery, then IMRT, several years of Lupron/Bicalutamide, Provenge, Radium 233, Taxotere and currently Jevtana. I am Stage 4 with bone/lymph node mets. PSA rising after 4 infusions of Jevtana (180). Bone scan/CT update in two weeks. Lost 35#, but still vertical. Need a new "ball

Frequency of PSA Tests?
Hello all. I love you guys, but I figure while my PSA is undetectable, I’m going to take a break from this forum and try to get back to some level of normalcy, psychologically and emotionally. There will be plenty of time to read up and plan my next course of action when my PSA returns. Hopefully that
