Conjunctivitis treatment with serverly dry, sensitive eyes.
The last time I had conjunctivitis it lasted for over two months. I tried the normal eye drop treatment from my GP and it was like it was burning out my eyes so I went to my opthamologist who said that conjunctivitis doesn't need to be treated. There is only a very rare 2 or 3 pathogens that can do you

Mucous in my throat
I suffer alomst permanently with a glob of mucous in the back of my throat which I attribute to some form of sinusitis as one or other of my nasal passages is blocked most of the time - I use a saline solution to try and clear my nose. Some days are worse than others, but there seems to be no solution

Constant pain AFTER full hysterectomy & also removal of overies.
Hi ladies, I thought I was going crazy until I read some of these stories, I had a full hysterectomy at 39, I was told after surgery that I was all stuck together, the consultant removed my cervix but left my ovaries.he also informed me that I had severe "Lesions & Adhesions" caused by endometriosis.

Things are can't live without
Apart from my medications and my wife (not necessarily in that order LOL) There are a number of things I just can't live without. They include: (1) sugar-free chewing gum (because it keeps my mouth moist and my teeth unfurry! (2) saline nasal spray (FESS in Oz) which I use quite liberally as it moistens

Hi everyone, I would like to know if anyone has noticed while on a Nebulising machine that their eyesight has improved?
I have been on a nebuliser for 24hours now, using it for 3 to 4 times a day, with Ventalin and Salon, Ventalin opens up the airways and Saline helps loosen the phlemn, whilst on this machine I have found that my eyesight has improved somewhat I would Love to hear from you. Take care of yourselves

Two invaluable products
I have always been a snuffely person even as a child. Now I have Emphysema to contend with. Two things which have really helped me, apart from the usual medications.......my handy saline spray (called Fess here in Oz) - this helps unblock my nose, especially in the morning; and believe it or not, chewing

Nebulising saline directly before sputum sample - does this effect the sample?
Every time I do a sputum sample (unless it's asked for at clinic or GP's surgery) I always nebulise a bronchodilator followed by physio, so I can get sample from various areas of the lung. I always hesitate to nebulise saline 0.9% or hypertonic 7% in case it effects the sample in a negative way.

I realise my biggest fear was the needle and still is for next time. Bloods on 22nd, docotr on 23rd more chemo
