Mosaicplasty or knock knees?
I have osteoarthritis in both knees, I was seen by a consultant two years ago who specialises in knee replacements. He thought I would benefit from high tibial osteotomy, then said he would refer me to a different consultant. I now have a clinic appointment in November, so just over two years or three

RA and Osteo
Hi folks. I have seropositive RA and osteoartitis in my spine and knee. I think there is almost a bit of illness snobbery about arthritis and we get annoyed when people with osteo think they understand what it’s like to have RA. I understand why and when I have a bad flare up, it is really really horrible

Walking not running
Does anyone use Cto5K as a walking programme? I have been advised not to run due to arthritis in knees and hip. Thanks - advice appreciated.

New to PMR
I am newly diagnosed (last night) after going for an appointment for osteoarthritis. I had a steroid injection in my bottom which seems to have improved the pain a bit. I have pain in my hips, legs , arms shoulders and back. I have had some blood tests and a pelvic X-ray. I am going for more blood

Crawling sensation in neck
Hi everyone I've had a great run and now possibly a flare up or worsening due to damp change in Temperature. I have arthritis in spine and neck. I've noticed pins and needles / crawling sensation in my left side of my neck is this normal association with arthritis?

Cortisone/ablation spinal injection
I have RA and have arthritis in my lower back. I’ve been offered a cortisone spinal injection so help ease the inflammation. Also, if this doesn’t help with the pain they can then do a radio frequency ablation. Has anyone had either of these? Ss

Is this the start of osteoarthritis?
I am a 21 year old female. I used to be anorexic and bad a pretty bad exercise addiction - running around 20km daily. Now running about 7 km a day and have lately been feeling like there is some sort of strange feeling when I folded my leg at the knee and straightened it out back . Its hard to describe

Should I continue with ankle arthritis and sore knees?
Hi I’ve just finished my 6th couch to 5k run but am having a lot of stiffness and pain in my ankle (prone to this as 10 year old injury lead to arthritis) and knees feel a bit stiff and uncomfortable. I have expensive new brooks trainers and really want to do it but should I continue? Will it make arthritis

Leaky gut? New arthritis treatment
I can’t remember where I saw it but I read something about a new discovery that leaky gut is linked to arthritis and some gut medications being used for arthritis as a result. Does anyone know if this theory or indeed the research covered lupus as well? I have read about the theory in the past and was

What triggers your flares?
Hey everyone! I'm currently diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis, suspected seronegative RA waiting on an ultrasound to confirm. I am currently enjoying a dental abcess following a wisdom tooth extraction (as fun as it sounds) and my joints are so stiff and sore. I'm new to all of this so wondering

Rheumatoid arthritis + PMR?
I had some painful swelling in my foot behind the toes for about 2 weeks and then it faded away. I saw the specialist rheumatoid nurse today and as she was checking me over, she spotted the remains of the swelling and thinks that I might have rheumatoid arthritis as well as PMR. Has anyone else got
