Daman are co-creating the new version of their app RheumaBuddy with people with RA. They need your help to understand what the needs and desires of people with RA are when it comes to digital health. They would love to have a short interview and understand what it really means to be a person living with rheumatoid arthritis.

Their mission with RheumaBuddy is to help people with RA to experience an improved Quality of Life, and to enable them to live their lives to the fullest.

Please get in touch through the below contact details if you would like to get involved or visit their website to learn more.

I don’t think I’m suitable for an interview as am not really a tech person.

But just to say I ditched the rheumabuddy app in days as it was far too juvenile. I am an adult, and one that is sometimes in pain, so smiley faces in pastel colours are just not appropriate to me.

Totally agree - although I’m not sure I lasted more than a day. The app felt quite juvenile plus it seemed quite time consuming and rather negative to be focusing on what and where hurts.

It may be more useful to someone who is newly diagnosed but 15 years in I don’t need an app to tell me if I over do things it might hurt and I might have more fatigue the next day.

Hi all, I am the researcher for this project. I am researching for my master thesis in social policy and public health.

We really appreciate your responses. We are creating a new version of RheumaBuddy, and input from people like you, who haven't enjoyed RheumaBuddy so far, is what we really need! We really want to find out the vision of people with RA when it comes to digital health, however negative it may be, so we can create a solution that is actually valuable.

If you would like, I can send on an interview guide so you can have a look at what we would like to discuss before agreeing to take part. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions!

And despite being a very 'techy' person, I found that filling it in every day (or even frequently) made me feel depressed as it made me face all my problems.I prefer to ignore them!

Hi, I am the researcher for this project.

I understand where you are coming from - it is exactly issues like this that we cover in the interviews. Input from people with opinions like yours is what we really need - we would love to arrange an interview, if you change your mind!
