Is Inflammatory Arthritis RA?
Stupid question, been diagnosed for six years since 20 but it’s always been written as: Seronegative inflammatory arthritis. It was once written as RA and once as Oligoarthritis. Is there any difference. I am negative rheumatoid factor, anti-CCP and HLA B27. Three years ago my DSA28 score equates to

Temporal Artery Biopsy, just had mine and they couldn't find it, so they took a tissue sample from the site instead.
I think they said the
arteritis
might have obliterated it but not quite sure what that means.

Psoriatic Arthritis?
I have RA currently tolerable, OA, PN, and a few lesser problems. A few weeks ago I had severe electrical-like shocking pains in my back vertebrae for two days. It went away but then my legs started breaking out in itchy red bumps and my full knee replacement knee is very painful. Could this be psoriatic

Starting tocilizumab
I had my first shot of TCZ this morning (10 hours ago). 45 minutes later I started to feel lousy, dizzy etc. I'm slowly getting better now. Is this anyone else's experience? Is it likely to pass, and it is something I have to look forward to every week, or does your body adjust to it? Am also on 14mg

Does anyone know whether I will experience steroid withdrawal even though I’m on tocilizumab?
I have tapered down (from 40mg) to 5mg pred. I began a course of weekly TCZ injections 8 weeks ago. I need to stop taking the pred. I’m wary as I have experienced steroid withdrawal on a prior occasion. I am debating whether to keep taking it over Christmas or to stop now… and I’m wondering whether:

Will I see specialist forever?
Hi everyone, I started seeing my liver specialist a long time ago now. It must be 8 years. They found out I had positive AMA and also ANA when investigating my arthritis. I still am labelled as arthritis (query rheumatoid) and mild chronic liver condition but he hasn’t yet called it PBC, two vague labels

Anyone else experiencing RA alongside osteoarthritis and being peri menopausal? Feeling exhausted…
Well the good news is current treatment plan of mtx and etanercept is keeping my RA controlled. But X-rays and US of feet and hands show that the pretty constant pain is osteoarthritis, and it’s in all fingers and toes. Alongside fully blown peri menopausal I’m feeling pretty exhausted. It’s likely

Rheumatoid Arthritis
Hi my son has been diagnosed at age 26, he’s in the process of blood tests and waiting for his first treatment, I’m utterly heartbroken seeing him in so much pain every day struggling to do the tasks he took for granted. It’s literally come on within six months. Can anyone give me any glimmers of hope

Tocilizumab cessation.
I posted recently concerning the fear and dread the withdrawal of this excellent treatment causes myself and fellow sufferers of GCA/PMR. To further update I am a constituent of Sajid David and have therefore e-mailed him to express our shared distress at having this treatment given and then taken away

Stopping Tocilizumab
My Ophthalmologist has now mentioned ending my "allocation" of Tocilizumab whereby I will be maintained on 15 mg of Hydrocortisone and 20 mg of Methotrexate. I am unnerved by this and feel it will leave me at an increased vulnerability to relapse and have only one functioning eye. Has anyone gone through

Steroid sparers
I posted a few weeks ago to ask if anyone had been given Mycophenolate so Tocilizumab could be withdrawn. I only got a couple of replies so I guess not many have. I gave them a try and felt as though I was back to pre diagnosis. Rheumatologist said to try again more slowly. Same again. Not for me. I

Update: Fibromilaga
I just saw a rheumatologist. He diagnosed me with Fibromilaga. Said he hasnt ruled out psoriatic arthritis but he thinks its Fibromilaga. Im not sure how i feel about it but at least we are treating something, instead of telling me im fine and go away. Anyone have any advice on how to help myself through
