Pacemaker in 30s?
What has your experience been with a pacemaker? I am 38 years old and on my way to a pacemaker. 5 years ago I was diagnosed with PVCs after giving birth. I had a Holter monitor and was told they were benign and sent on my way. They have gotten progressively worse. I was put on 25 metoprolol then potassium

PVCs and exercise
Hello there! Hope all is well. I am new to the site and I love it. I feel some sort of support knowing I am not allowed. I have been suffering with anxiety for the past 5 years. Its been really tough. My anxiety comes from having pvcs while I exercise. When I run or when I do uphill walking or jogging

Ablation
Would love to hear from anyone who has had ablation for pvc thinking I would rather go down that path than get stuck on beta blockers. How long do you have to wait is it your choice

PVC Episodes Last Hours
Hi, I started getting awful runs of PVCs 20 days ago (exactly 4 weeks after giving birth to my 3rd child. I had an echo (normal) and wore a 24 hr tape which did pick them up but the cardiologist said they were totally benign. She said they don’t worry until you have 7% ectopics and my level was 1% (or

Read this before you get your next finger ulcer.
It's either a complete fluke or its the best treatment I have come across so far. Do a search and you will see there have been some trials conducted. I am referring to infa red or red light therapy. Ages ago I read about supposed healing of aches and pains by directed red light therapy. We bought a light

Should I have ablation while symptom-free?
I’ve had PVCs for 5 years. Twice they developed into Ventricular Tachycardia with a heart rate of 177+ and I was hospitalised. I had the choice of medication or an ablation and chose medication because an ablation really frightens me. That was 5 years ago. I have PVCs on and off most of the time but

Suddenly Having PVC’s Again
I am 10 months post ablation. Lately I have felt better and wasn’t having the little panic episodes I had been having but in just the last few days I’ve suddenly been throwing a good amount of PVC’s or ectopic beats and I hate it! It makes me feel like I’m about to go into a bad rhythm (a kind of rhythm

Heart pvc/pac/SVT
Ok so I’ve been through this before but they have came back with a vengeance. Does anxiety really cause heart palpitations???? I just can’t believe it. I mean how? I’m totally relaxed when all of a sudden BAM my heart starts to skips beats, or one hard thud!! That make me almost jump out of my shoes.

Alivecore Kardia Machine or similar.
I posted earlier in the week about my 4 yr battle with heart palpitations which have become a bit of a mystery with doctors saying they could be benign PVC's. One of the big problems is trying to capture the palpitations. I tend to have them just at night but all my hospital tests have been during the

Goodbye AF, hello PVC's.
Hi all, it has been a while since I have posted here. It’s good news and bad. The good news is that 18 months post-PVI-ablation, I am still totally clear of AF. The bad news is that I have developed ventricular ectopy (extended PVC episodes) in the last few months. The episodes come on around 1am and

Weird heart feelings
Anyone had the feeling where your heart stops beating for a second and then I comes back with a very strong beat and then beats faster for like 20 seconds?? Or feels like their heart flipped for a second?? Dr said these are PVCs, I had a holster monitor and less than 1% of beats were PVCs but I feel

PVC’s or PAC’s and dry mouth can Anxiety be the cause
I’m 56 former professional athlete who’s had occasional skipped beats since my thirties. About two years ago I would get bouts of about twenty skips a day for a month and they would gradually go away. Visited cardiologist, did blood work and found high cholesterol (family history) and slightly high blood

Pvcs all day and night long
I’ve been dealing with pvcs for the past 2 days non stop from morning till throughout the whole night. They are the worst when I’m relaxed and just laying down. It almost seems like every few beats I get them. Almost like hiccups. I’ve always felt them for at least 6 years now but this time they are

Flecainide - from PIP to 2x100/day now want to get off of it
Hi everyone, My first post on here. I'm reaching out because I've had some issues with Flecainide that my doctors don't acknowledge and I know I'm not crazy. I've had PAF for 30 years. Would have an event maybe once a year or slightly more. Then I gained weight and got severe obstructive sleep apnea

Papillary Muscle Ablation
Ablation not totally successful as the origin of the PVC’s was deep in the papillary muscle and after 7 hours and 40 burns they did not want to risk damage to the mitral valve. PVC’s continue post procedure. Plus, they were unable to induce the exercise induced VT. So it is back to the med route, this
