Hi, been Hashimotos/hypothyroid about 10 years. Was always on 225mg. Since perimenopause they've dropped me to 150 which I was reluctant but had to do. Stayed like this for 3 years but new Dr, new results - she wants to drop me again. Trying to balance HRT to help all pain and symptoms. Scared of how

Over medicating
I've recently had some help from the great people on here regarding my thyroid problems, which I am super thankful for but I think I need more. I've mentioned previously the horrible anxiety/restlessness/claustrophobia type symptoms I've had for a few weeks now and recently had a private blood draw to

At A Loss
Hi, I've been Hypo/Hashi's for 20 years now. Completely GF/DF/EF/SF for just about that long. I did so well on NDT until the pig flu debacle years ago, then Armour and the other NDT's stopped working. I currently take only T3 for about 4 years now. I was taking 62.5 mcg split throughout the day. I

Is this too much Armour, too soon?
She was fantastic and seemed to understand ALL the things I told her of my 4 year 'journey' with low
thyroid
hormones. She advised I start on 2 grains of
armour
(no titrating) and another consult and bloodwork is arranged for early August (8 weeks since first appointment).

How does it go starting ndt?
Hi, thank you for taking the time to read this I'm getting married in three weeks. I'm currently on Levo but have always had fatigue taking it. I have got a prescription of NDT which I haven't started yet. I'm worried that starting ndt now will leave me worse off for the wedding. But I'm feeling completely

Feeling desperate
I'm feeling very low at the moment, and quite isolated. I'm hoping to get some advice here. I'm a 45 year old male, and have had Hashimoto's since my early 20s. After a terrible few years on thyroxin I found NDT and on the whole have been relatively well on it. However, since around 2019 I've had bouts

More T3
Hi everyone Hope you’re all keeping well.I’ve just had bloods done, and noticed my T3 could probably be a bit higher. Not feeling so good lately and wondering if an increase would help. Back in 2018 I was taking NDT and felt amazing.I stopped taking after a few years because it was starting to get

Not feeling the Heat like I usually do!!!
Hi all For years, I've really felt the heat during the summer months but, this summer, I'm actually feeling quite comfortable, which is great and I'm certainly not complaining. I have change my thyroid meds, at the end of last year, so several months ago. I was on Levothyroxine 150mcg daily but GP

thyroxine dosage
Can anyone tell me if 12 and a half of levo could be enough. If I try to go higher I seem to be worse. Have struggles for many years trying to increase dose. Am no better on NDT or T3 only.

Increased bloating, gas and burning sensation in throat (?heartburn). On NDT
I am currently using NDT, and I have been taking Thyroid S for several years with varying batch success. I have just started a new batch 23T01008. I have also been trialling Roseway Labs Compounded NDT on and off due to the fewer ingredients to see if it suited me better as I have not been feeling optimum
