Have you disclosed your self-medication to GP?
Hello Everybody, I've been successfully self-medicating with T4 and T3 or NDT, without GP's knowledge, since 2016. For the 30 years before that I could not get diagnosed for hypothyroidism because I am borderline central hypothyroid and my TSH never got high enough for the NHS diagnosis criteria.

Out of Date Erfa NDT
Hello, Can anyone tell me if they have taken out-of-date NDT? I have read that it may just be a little less effective but not harmful. Is this the case?

Treatment of Paediatric Brain Cancer with T3?
Report of an interesting study where T3 (liothyronine) was used to treat mice with medulloblastoma. The treatment reprogrammed the cells so they became normal rather than cancerous. The study is described here https://www.foxchase.org/news/2023-04-17-study-finds-thyroid-drug-normalizes-tumor-cells-in-pediatric-brain-cancer

In hospital take ndt
Hi. Just a question regarding hospital stays and taking unprescribed ndt. I am probably going to be in hospital soon and am wondering what the heck to do about my thyroid s. I ended up in A&E with chest pains and was put on a ward where they took my antibiotics off me and put them in a locked cupboard

Levothyrixine no longer working?
hi everyone. Around 6 months ago I was diagnosed with Hashimotos. My Serum thyroid peroxidase antibody concentration was 173.9 ku/L and my TSH was off kilter. I was prescribed 25mg then increased to 50mg. After a few weeks I felt like a new woman. In the last month Iāve started to feel the same as pre-Levothyroxine
