Thinning hair
I’m on Ibrance and Anastrozole (
Arimidex
). I would like to get the gray out and do some highlights but thinking that might be too much for my hair. Does anyone get their hair done or should I avoid it? It would make me feel better but worry I might lose more hair.

Stunned
Stopped taking
arimidex
and fulvestrant and was put on Ibrance and Tamoxifen. Had another endoscopy two days ago and the doctor said there is absolutely no sign of any cancer there at all and it was pervasive initially. I am absolutely stunned and so grateful!!!

Bone scan on Thursday showing Slight uptake in L2 L3 and L5
I’ve been on
Arimidex
for 4 years with Xgeva shots every 3 months since dx Mbc in January 2017. My tumor markers have increased by about 10 a month so I’m now at 121.

LETROZOLE
When I was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1997 I had Tamoxifen for 5 years- the next time 2007, it was Tamoxifen but switched to
Arimidex
for 5 years, then 2016 it was Letrozole but will this be for 5 or 10 years, as some people say they are on it for 10 years and as I am coming up to 5 years

I am being treated for a chest wall recurrence of my breast cancer (Ibrance and
Arimidex
) They have been keeping an eye on an ovarian cyst with periodic ultrasounds but now there have been some changes that need to be addressed.

Letrozole (Femara} vs Arimidex
I know both
arimidex
and Letrozole are similar but it seems there are more people on this site that are on Letrozole. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I’m 71 and my Onc recently described me as A symptomatic lol I used to feel like 90 but I think I’ve learned to live with

Need your opinion
After my recurrence, I had a mastectomy followed with Ibrance and
Arimidex
. Took both of year and a half. I tolerated it ok, but never felt myself. Joints affected, foggy brain, hot flashes, hair thinning etc.

Arimidex for self-directed BAT
Is there any point in taking
Arimidex
during low-testosterone periods, or is taking it just when testosterone is high sufficient? Of course one also follows E2, but for setting the initial course which approach is more sensible?

Surgery while taking Ibrance.
As I understand, it is not recommended that stage 4 patients have major surgery whil on Ibrance and
arimidex
. Has anyone here had this type of surgery and if so did it cause progression? Thank you so much -Madlyn

Has anyone heard a preference for Arimidex or Tamoxifen for man boobs?
Anyone been on either one for a time -- is it working -- does it shrink them if they start growing? etc

Very low ER positive MBC
I was on
arimidex
for three years before my MBC was diagnosed, and during that time the ER went down from 99 percent to 2 percent. I have been put on ibrance and faslodex. I know this treatment is designed for ER positive tumors, and my oncologist said it is used no matter what the positivity rate.

Glad to be part of an understanding group
Faslodex added to
Arimidex
and now Ibrance is replacing
Arimidex
. Sometimes I feel that instead of the side effects I'd rather live my life free of chemo. But pushing on. Thanks for your support

I am on
Arimidex
, Kisqali, Xgeva and remain NED so far. My MO is checking PET scans every 3 months and TMs monthly. My CA15-3 was normal at diagnosis, bumped up to a peak of high 30s during treatment and now back down to 20s. I am doing great now almost at 15 months!!!

I finished 10 rads, now onto
arimidex
and Ibrance. 2 weeks in and hate the side effects Currently, I'm on Depo lupron which I believe is causing tonic clonic seizures. hoping to get my ovaries removed before 6/16/20. This is me ready for my EEG (normal).

Afinitor (everolimus) with Faslodex (fulvestrant) combo
Hi everyone, I will be starting the Everolimus and Faslodex combo this week after
Arimidex
combo with Ibrance stopped working after 20 months. I’ve seen a lot of posts mentioning the Everolimus in combo with Exemestane but not Everolimus in combo with Faslodex.

Told aromatase inhibitor is not working?
I have been on
Arimidex
for nearly two years now, and have recently been diagnosed with a new cancer in the other breast. I talked to the oncologist briefly over the phone (because of Corona my in office visit was cancelled) and he said to stop taking
Arimidex
because "it's not working".
