Hi My name is Jennifer Bagley,I'm an almost 9 yr survivor of Stage 3 Invasive Breast Cancer. I made it 2 months shy of 9 yrs. I now have Metastatic Breast Cancer in my L2 vertebra. My children were 9 and 2 now 18 and 12.

I finished 10 rads, now onto arimidex and Ibrance. 2 weeks in and hate the side effects

Currently, I'm on Depo lupron which I believe is causing tonic clonic seizures. hoping to get my ovaries removed before 6/16/20.

This is me ready for my EEG (normal).

Hi Jennifer. I don’t like to say welcome as this is not where anyone wants to be but this is a great and supportive place. It is 2 1/2 years since my diagnosis of Stage 4 MBC with numerous Mets to my bones. I took Ibrance for two years before progression moved me on to chemo. Ask any questions you have and someone here will be able to answer. Ibrance made me so fatigued and I didn’t feel good for two years while others take it and have no side effects. I hope yours go away quickly and things settle down for you. -Sarah

Hello mbcnfp-Hang in there-my Cancer is stage 4 but I never had Chemo or radiation. I have a friend who is starting that -she is around 38 . I opted out and just took Ibrance and letrozole. The tumors are gone they say scar tissue in one breast and looks like it’s radiated. The other has disappeared. The lesions on the spine are stable -nothing is lighting up. I wish the best for you as 9 years that’s great-we are alive and making the best of it. Take care and I hope you are not in pain. Seizures -maybe they can change as that’s not good to go thru. Take care🙏🌹

Dear Jennifer,

I am sorry you are now stage 4. But it seems it is only in your bones which is good. I have had it in my bones extensively for 4.5 years now. Ibrance has been a miracle drug for me along with letrozole. No chemo or radiation for me at this time.

I don't have any obvious side affects. But this past year my hair has been thinning so much around my temples that it is hard to hide now. Serious complaint for my womanly ego but small complaint in the whole picture. I think you are going to do really well on Ibrance since your mets to the bones is not that much yet. but it seems they do need to get you stabilized to eliminate the seizures. I am now 66 years old.

Pam :-)

I’m sorry to hear of your remission. I pray the doctors can help you become NED soon. God bless you. Shelly

Sorry to hear cancer has returned to you. We always think if we make the 5 years we're good. Lately I'm learning that isn't always the case. May I ask what treatment or surgery you had with the first bout? I'm triple neg invasive ductal. I opted to have both breasts removed followed by chemo and implants. I just past 4 years post chemo. Obviously I'm having a tendency to compare my situation to others wondering if mine will return in another area. Stay strong.
