Soooo I had some pretty severe back pain about two weeks and I went to the ER. While I was there they did a CT scan for a pulmonary embolism and they did a portable scan of my lungs. I thought the findings were good as the nodule in my lung shrunk and my lymph nodes also shrunk. Today I got an email giving me access to my patient portal and I got all of these test results back that have me so flipping scared! My platelets are SUPER high, vacuolated neutrophils are present amongst other stuff. Does anyone have experience or familiarity with any of this. I’m currently taking Ibrance, & Arimidex. I just want to scream!!

Vacuolated Neutrophils & Elevated Platelets
I have no experience with what you have mentioned however, don't panic. These reports are difficult to read. Check with your oncologist or the nurse. May be a good explanation.
Cheers, June S.
Sandra, we are so very lucky to have you on this site with all of us. You always give great, positive, informed advice and have a calming presence about you.
I have not had experience with that, but I am sending some positive thoughts and prayers to you as you navigate this information. Please try to stay calm until you have had a chance to talk with your doctor. I used to check my portal after bloodwork or a scan but decided it would be better for my mental health to wait until I had my doctor's appointment so I could go over everything with her then. Otherwise I would be freaking out at some of the results. Take care.
