I have recently had blood in urine. Oncologist put me on antibiotics but says cultures came back negative so has ordered bone and CT scans because of discomfort in my back. I am so apprehensive about so many scans. Every three months in my case. Will the radiation cause more progression? Have never been given. PET scan and am wondering if that should be an option. Was diagnosed with tumor on sternum and possible Mets to liver and lung with Mets to right rib 30 years after Masectomy. Have been on Ibrance and Arimidex for one year. Stable so far. Any insights from you with experience would be appreciated. Madlyn

I have scans every 3 months and so glad I do as they picked up my progression early so hopefully can be reversed, had two Pet scan 1 year apart, I wish you all the best, I always get stressed when getting scan results. Hope you get sorted, hugs Tracey xx
