Small breakthrough.
After years of pain and not knowing what I had, believing I had chronic hives this whole time, taking

for god knows how long… I believe I have Tinea Versicolour. Does anyone else have/had this and know the best and quickest way to treat this? Thank you!

Allergies + Tinnitus + Dizziness
Hope everyone is doing ok! My tinnitus has remained louder since Covid and my vertigo/dizziness is still lurking, but the latter still better than it was a year ago so that’s something. I recently had a follow-up phone appointment with my audio vestibular consultant and although my original diagnosis

levo side effects and alternatives
hi all I’ve written in her a few times and had such helpful responses so here I go again, I’m sorry but my GPs seem a tad useless on the thyroid function stuff. I had a TSH of 10.3 and within range but low FT4 so have been on a 50mg dose of Levo since start of sept. Since then I’ve had headaches

In praise of my GP
I'm quick to have a moan when things aren't right, but I'm here to say that I think my GP is one of the best! I'm really speaking of her lovely manner, her approachability, her open-mindedness and willingness to take appropriate action immediately when required. So, following my phone appointment with

Did you know
12 MILLION people in the USA get misdiagnosed every year. Keep fighting for yourself if something doesn’t feel right you know your body best. I don’t really have a fight in me anymore to fight for myself I’m so drained and tired of doctors not listening and just throwing antidepressants and saying here

Asthma triggered by allergies & virus
I'm on Fostair 200 twice a day and Montelukast. I take an antihistamine daily. I reduced Fostair from 2 puffs twice daily as it gave me a croaky voice. I'm in my 40's - started H.R.T six months ago. The meds control my asthma well most of the time. I picked up a virus a few days ago which went straight

Any tips for relief?
Hi all strap yourselves in for an essay 😅 - apologies in advance. So about a year ago I posted on here and everyone was very helpful. I’d been suffering from nausea, upset bowels and weight loss about many months. After a positive FIT test I was referred for an urgent endoscopy and colonoscopy. Nothing

Allergy to levothyroxine?
I’m on 4
antihistamines
a day and another tablet used to treat asthma and it’s still out of control - I’m one big itchy hive. Currently taken myself off of levothyroxine to see if it settles.

fexofenadine
Hi. I’ve just been prescribed Fexofenadine antihistamine tablets 180 mg by a dermatologist for itching. The leaflet says under warnings and precautions: ‘tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have or ever had heart disease since this kind of medicine may lead to a fast or irregular heart beat’.

Advice please.
I was diagnosed with PA in 2006 after having a blood transfusion due to low haemoglobin. I was given the loading dose of b12 and then continued to have them every 8-12 weeks. I was also prescribed 5mg folic acid daily. In 2015 I seemed to develop a sensitivity to my b12 injections (hives, hot flushed

Rash after Running
Hello everyone, can anyone tell me why I come out in a rash on my arms and tummy after completing a run? (I'm only on week 3 of c25k so not exerting myself too much!) It goes after a couple of hours or an antihistamine but wondered if this is common. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Itching and levothyroxin
Hi all, I was put on levothyroxin for high TSH about three weeks ago. The first couple of weeks I had niggling headaches which thankfully seem to have passed but this week I’ve had crazy itching kick in!! It’s been awful, my hands, my scalp, my back. It seems to come in intense slots each place at a
