antidepressants
never work? no matter what the dose or medication is? people tell me therapy will help which normally I’m all for but my therapist has a waitlist and I’m not comfortable starting with someone new. what would you do if you were me?

It ended, but then it truly begun
I was on
antidepressants
prior to this and she once said she'd rather I had cancer as that's a real illness. after the separation, I met someone new, turned my life around. On reflection she did me a huge favour.

Parental stress/fear of failure
I’ve been on
antidepressants
for decades and it’s been well managed but there are days I’m at a breaking point 😔. Many times when they break down, I blame myself for not choosing the right word or for having a slip of my own anxiety. How do you deal with this?? thank you.

t3 only treatment need advice
When i got hypo i figured out fast that t4 only only worsend everything. My doc added 10 t3 it was better but not optimal. She put me on 4 Grain NDT and i did well for 2 years. Then got one symptom and we played with NDT dosages lower, higher, brands and a combo with NDT plus 10 T3... I transitioned

As of late
I’m in the process of getting a new therapist and a medical evaluation for
antidepressants
, but it’s SO hard to just fight. I am drowning in my mind. I want it to get easier.

First line of treatment
Well, I finally got to see my oncologist at Fred Hutchinson cancer center today. And finally a treatment plan! This all took time because I moved from South Carolina to Seattle for cancer treatment and to be with my kids. My oncologist was grateful I had done all the tests and biopsies prior to my appointment

OAB/Anxiety/Pumpkin extract
Hi there, been really struggling with intense anxiety because of symptoms of OAB for well over a year, and have had to have CBT/increase in
antidepressants
and an extra antidepressant/hypnotherapy as I'm so incredibly anxious about wetting myself.

New Treatment
Hello everyoneJust thought i'd post this great article about a possible new treatment for Raynauds Phenomenon that a lot of us are sufferers of like myself. An antidepressant called mirtazapine could be re-purposed for treating it. Is anybody taking the drug at the moment by any chance.? How do you find

Daily Low Dose Ketamine
My
Antidepressants
don't work. Therapy was useless. I was suicidal and hopeless everyday. TMS didn't work. Cost.$15,000. I tried 16 IV Ketamine sessions. Amazing Psychedelic Experience. $500 per session. But no lasting improvement. I found out about micro dosing Ketamine Company called Joyous.

Advice please, re sourcing/dose T3 in England, UK
I've a long history of being on Levothyroxine, for Hypothyroidism. I only feel well when on 150mcgs, most likely due to poor conversion T4 to T3, which I've more recently discovered, after private blood tests and advice on here. So, a few months ago, GP decided my T4 levels were much too high to accept

Advice for Ongoing Condition?
I was put on
antidepressants
early on in my b12 symptoms, which naturally did nothing, and I think he believes that I am stressed and depressed causing my symptoms. He was pretty annoyed that I withdrew myself from them.

Stopped taking mood supplement, SAM-e...is that WHY I'm struggling?🤔🧐🤨
In addition,
antidepressants
tend to take 6 to 8 weeks to begin working, while SAMe seems to begin more quickly. Researchers are not sure how SAMe works to relieve depression. But they speculate it might increase the amount of serotonin in the brain just as some
antidepressants
do.

Living with PA since childhood, now 30 and about to start SI, will I ever reclaim good QOL?
worse from about 16 if I remember, though my hair started turning white at 15, and I’ve heard this premature greying is a symptom, so likely have had it for a very long time… I honestly convinced myself at one point I had MS, 😅 saw multiple GPs, none of which were interested, gaslit me, trialled me on

New guy, older guy, first post
Hello. I have been on the planet for a bit. I'm not even sure I tapped the right place to do a general post. Will try this. I joined yesterday. This depression stuff is not a new experience but it has gotten much deeper. Much more uncomfortable. I have started treating myself to seeing a counselor
