How long is long
I had a ct scan of my heart very recently just before COVID , followed by a visit to my cardiologist. I was worried that my afib episodes are getting longer and also less uncomfortable ie “ normalising” The scan showed a ( very) healthy heart and my cardiologist was very reassuring that afib was not

UPDATE!
Hello all, I will be going on
anticoagulants
& Flecanide this week, I am gutted if truth be told! My Cardiologist said that I need to get nearer my ideal weight & if my BP returns to normal & I have no AFib episodes within the next year I can come off Apixaban.

I am wondering if anyone with a chadsvasc score of 2 has declined prescription
anticoagulants
in favour of natural
anticoagulants
, if so, how is the efficacy measured? Or is there another forum that this question would be better suited? Many Thanks 😊

Anticoagulant
Hi. Hope everyone is keeping safe. I would like to know from your experience if taking anticoagulant like Pradaxa or Apixaban will make healing of wounds or ulcers last longer? Have anyone of you experienced this? Thanks.

PACs/Bigeminy after ablation
Had a cryobaloon ablation (PV isolation) in Nov 2019. Seems to have cured my AFIB as I haven't had any episodes in over 3 months. I do however have frequent PACs/bigeminy, confirmed by Holter monitor. EP says they are not harmful. I never had this many pre-ablation so I'm wondering if the PACs are a

Awaiting Diagnosis
Hey guys, I’ve been lurking on this forum for I think almost a month now. I’m 27 years old, female. I went to the doctor in February for a routine blood test and the results came back with raised HB and HCT, HB was 175 and HCT was 50 and also my iron is low. My GP didn’t say much except telling me she

Cataract surgery and anticoagulants
The hospital say I don’t need to stop the
anticoagulants
(Endoxaban in my case) before the op. They only seemed concerned if I was on Warfarin. Just wondering if anyone has had cataract removal and what advice they were given? Thanks 😊

Something to smile about
Why couldn't tinkerbell go to the anticoagulation clinic? Because they have Apixiban.

erratic heart performance
I am in my mid nineties, a year ago I had a TAVI to replace a faulty aortic heart valve. This seems to be effective. Recently I have given up my gym exercises because of the danger of picking up the coronavirus. I get some exercise at home with a static bike. This helps but I observe that my heart beats

Irregular heart beat
Hi everyone! My mum (67yo) has been diagnosed with an irregular heart beat. It was diagnosed Nov 2019 and despite being on blood thinners and bisoprolol (10mg as of last week) since then her heart rate is still around 100bpm whenever she goes to the GP. Her blood tests come back fine and she had a chest

More questions re Russian Cardioversion
I am in Russia and may have the opportunity for a cardioversion next week, though I'd have to return home soon after. Two questions 1 TOE ? Is it traumatic. I bottled out of an MRI scan in Russia because of a language barrier with the operator. I don't want to pay up and then flunk out of the TOE
