Bad response to high dose of Menopur
I am 36 and have low amh 0.4 and just had my first cycle canceled for egg accumulation for ivf. They put me on 450 Ui per day of menopur. Normally I have 5 follicles grow naturally. This month only 2 and one very small grew. Biggest at 7mm at 7 days! So we canceled and converted to timed intercourse.

Hi All I was wondering if any of the clinics are using the new drug as I believe it has a long duration between injections after the initial 3 loading ones of up up t 12 weeks. It has. Been passed by the FDA I believe. Wishing everyone well Ann

Follicle Growth
Hey everyone, I had my first progress scan today after being on 300iu of Menopur for 10 days. I have very low AMH anyway but they could only see 5 follicles growing each measuring 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 10mm and 14mm. I was told it’s not likely the 6 & 8 will grow to size. I am to continue on Menopur and

RH NEGATIVE BLOOD WOMEN
Hi all. Please I want to know if there is anyone here who has an rh negative blood and had an abortion or miscarriage but did not have the rhogam shot and went ahead and become pregnant and your blood is not rhesus sensitized. When do you visit the clinic to be checked if you have the anti D antibodies

Sorry for the stupid question: how do you know if you have a problem with egg quality?
Hi Ladies Been wondering about this for a while so I thought I was would ask 😂. My husband has now been told (after years of perfect sperm tests) that he has low motility. We are wondering if it’s due to him taking a lot of gym supplements (pre-workout, protein powder etc.) prior to our last ICSI round

When to see a nephrologist?
I have had stage 3 CKD for 20+ years. I saw a nephrologist that ordered 14 vials of blood drawn. Due to a conflict in work and scheduling a return appointment I never went back. My GFR has remained relatively stable all these years. Should I be seeing a nephrologist? I have only had one doctor even mention

First Ivf cancelled in April. Which tests can I ask for/get done from my GP?
Hi the subject title says it all really. I did see a post skirting around the edges of this a few days ago about AMH and FSH but I don’t really know what they are? Are they both blood tests? I’ve searched for it but I can’t find it now. Any info greatly appreciated 😁 x

AMH level
Hi Ladies, I had my follow up appointment today. The consultant thinks I’ve still got a good chance with using my own eggs for my next round of IVF as I managed to get two good embryos in my first round one 5ab and one 3ab which both failed to implant. The consultant then said that my embryos may

No heartbeat...I’m so tired
Hi all, I was hoping the next time I posted was with some good news but unfortunately not. I’m currently 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant which is amazing in itself as I had some much going against me (age, low AMH, thin lining). I was hoping that I would be able to provide a positive story one day. Trying

New diagnosis
I just received my diagnosis of Lupus a few weeks ago after 4 years of uncertainty, multiple investigations including LPs, MRI scans, nerve conduction tests and then eventually referral to rheumatologist due to abnormal bloods and swollen painful hands. I’ve since developed a rash on my face, arms and

Bad feeling.....
Hi all, I had my 2 day embryo transfer on Wednesday. I was so incredibly nervous at the procedure but it went well. They put back my one embryo (a grade 4.3). That afternoon and the next day I had very bad pain, as if I've pulled muscles so had to take paracetamol. Since then I've just had bloating and

Short protocol Low amh success for anyone?
Hi, I had to abandon my ivf yesterday after only 1 follicle was found to be growing. They had found 3 at day 8 of stims, upped my dose of menopur and bemfola but seems this didn't work. I'll be starting the short protocol from next cycle so was wondering if anyone else had a better follicle response

Low AMH cycle update: 3dt today. let the 2ww commence! 🥴
A quick update from me ladies. I went for my 3dt today. From a 4 cell grade 1/2 yesterday, today just before transfer it had grown to a 10 cell grade 1/2. The embryologists said they have “every confidence in it doing well”. My last round from which I had my little boy, we transferred one 8 cell grade
