I have completed all scans available to me and they show new metastatic disease throughout my skeleton. PSA @ 4.65 ug/L. The disease continues to advance while being treated with Zoladex and abiraterone. I have switched prednisone for dexamethasone and haven't had an updated blood test yet to see if

Anyone have CLL get 'jumpstarted / activated' by undergoing unrelated surgery?
Just met with my Oncologist today who said my 'wait and watch' status can be affected for any number of unknown reasons. He has shorted the period between my visits from every 6 to every 3 months (this was my first 3 mo. check) as the easily detected lymph nodes are becoming more numerous (but no doubling

Question about radiation
I had prostrate cancer in 2019 and had my prostate removed. My PSA is now detectable at 0.12. It has been at this level since January. My oncologist/radiologist is recommending I have radiation to just the prostrate bed for 8 weeks. My PSMA PET scan came back negative, and nothing was detectable. I am

FIRMAGON INJECTION REACTIONS
I know from reading about the side effects from Firmagon that swelling, a hard lump, redness, and pain at the injection site is normal and can last for 3-4 days, but it doesn't talk about how intense that swelling will be or how large the hard lump is. I've had 2 injections so far, the initial 2 120mg

UPDATE
Had my 3 month lupron injection yesterday and PSA checked. I have been on xtandi since last June, PSA yesterday was 0.08. Three months ago it was 0.16. The PA told me most men on xtandi’s run last between 2 and 3 years. I hope she is wrong in my case. Any one have any thoughts about this. ET

PSA "negative" PSMA positive metastasis
I believe that one should be vigilant in this disease. With that said I had a follow-up PSMA PET/CT March 13, 2023. It demonstrated a PSMA avid lesion anterior to L3 and behind the Aorta, consensus was that this did not represent an anatomical variant of the celiac ganglion. My PSA was at the time

fears of Prostate Cancer
I recently had a physical examination and PSA blood tests for prostate cancer, I was told they were clear and so the likelihood was that I had Benign Prostate Hyperplasia. I could cope with hearing that, but I also now have dull pains in my groin the tops of my legs which I have read is only really

3 Years After Stage IV Diagnosis

We thought his diagnosis meant he would die soon. We didn't know at the time that if you respond well to treatment you can live years with

Pluvicto Update
So I just completed my second treatment of Pluvicto on March 27th. I'm also taking Xtandi and of course the beloved Lupron. I think it has been better tolerated than Docetaxel but the fatigue may be worse. Not sure if Pluvicto is to blame or the Xtandi. I am very weak and tire easily. I did walk a mile

Prostate cancer test confidence…
I recently requested a physical prostate examination and a PSA test after suffering weeks of constant feelings of a need to urine. I had both of the tests as well as a urine test and was told that everything seemed fine. I was reassured by this, but have since read that both the physical examination

SARMs - RAD 140 update
Most recent PSA 0.02 I think I can safely conclude that RAD 140 use caused my PSA to increase. PSA 6/8/21 - 21.40 took antibiotic (Cipro) for 30 days 7/13/21 - 12.10 9/2/21 started Lupron 11/5/21 - 1.34 11/6/21 started Zytiga 1000mg 12/15/21 - 0.25 1/13/22 - 0.12 2/15/22
