Stable PSA, deep fall testosterone lab results.
At this point I am only getting Lupron injections every four months. Zytiga and Prednisone stopped two months ago. PSA un changed at 1.06 for the last 4 months, testosterone down from 100 last month to 17 yesterday. Kindly asking, what will be the point of starting on Xtandi and get exposed to its nasty

It's still there; now what?
After a few undetectable PSA readings following a prostatectomy, 15 months of Eligard and salvage radiation, my latest reading is 0.03. The oncologist suggests waiting until the next PSA test in November to see the rate of change and once it hits a threshold, I will have another PSMA scan. Is there anything

BRCA2 and prostate cancer
My husband has the BRCA2 gene mutation. We’ve known this since 2015 and that he was at a higher risk for prostate cancer which he now has. Ten people from the two generations above him died from cancer including his mother. His PSA has been inching up over the years and is now at 22. He is 67 years old

PSMA PET scan?
PSA undetectable for last 18 months. I have been taking abiraterone & lupron & I am considering a treatment 'holiday'. Would a PSMA PET scan be beneficial ?

PSA levels.
Feeling happy my husband got good news since being diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer last March. His PSA levels less than 0.01ng/ml,and still got to continue with the hormone injections, and next check up in 6 months time.

My husband's Pluvicto treatment update.
Hi everyone, I hope you all are doing well. My husband's PSA went fron .53 to .32 with fourth treatment. We are very grateful and bless that he is responding good. Blood work looks good. The only symptom he has is that he feels very tired, but still able to walk- run everyday 3 miles. This Friday he's

PSA rising during Docetaxel treatments
Is it bad if PSA rises slightly during Docetaxel treatments? It’s risen 3 out of the 4 treatments he’s had. Doc doesn’t seem too worried but we assumed it would go down. Scans looked good. Thank you!

ART Long-Term Mortality Low Regardless of Treatment in Local Prostate Cancer
Amazing! The headline states that there is ‘low’ mortality regardless of treatment for local PCa…really? Well, that did not make me feel very good as I opted for treatment! RP, followed by ADT for 6 months, followed by IMRT sRT, followed by 15 months of ADT post treatment…I was not feeling so good

I am currently undergoing SBRT to three mets in my upper right lung as part of the comet 3 clinical trial. I would like to know how long I should wait before getting a PSMA PET scan I stopped taking Xtandi 2 weeks before treatment and will not start taking it again until 2 weeks after treatment

Need help/input on Adjuvant vs salvage radiation after prostatectomy & extended lymph node dissection. Also studies/input on # fractions?
Looking for input on following questions: Are there any studies that show how common lymphedema is after ePLND? (25 nodes removed). Can you share them? Would the risk of lymphedema go up with 20 fractions vs 33 fractions? Any studies on efficacy of 20 vs 33? Lastly, based on history below, what

High PSA after surgery
RP was march 23rd. Testosterone level mid May was 38. (not chemically induced). PSA on June 2nd was .31. My PSA prior to surgery was 6.0 and gleason 3+4. I think my surgeon may have misled me. I had told him prior to agreeing to the surgery that I did not want to give up my sex life and did

Update on my Estradiol experiment
I just posted this update to my profile: UPDATE: June 5, 2023: I am continuing to take Orgovyx and my most recent PSA was again. <.02 in April. Also in April, I restarted my experiment with Estradiol patches as a treatment for osteoporosis and ADT SEs. I started on one 0.25 patch twice per week. Today

Docetaxel and discolored nails
I have never worn nail polish, but Docetaxel is really discoloring my nails. This is a fun way to cover up the problem. Since starting Docetaxel on 31 March, my PSA had dropped 6.6 points!

What to do when docetaxel discolors your nails. It’s fun plus now when I look at my nails I don’t feel so bad. Last 3 weeks PSA dropped another 1.4 points!
