Going to the Gym after Angioplasty
Hi everyone, I am new to this community. I had a stent fitted 5 weeks ago following an angina attack. This is my second stent. The 1st ( which is still good) was fitted in 2006 in a different artery and was found following abnormal stress test during a company medical. Fortunately I've never had a heart

Hi, I'm 51 years old and have just had 2 Angioplastys resulting in 5 stents. The last procedure was last Friday. This has all been a terrible shock to me. Heart rate spiking?
It happened when we were on holiday in Spain, so I had 5 days in intensive care and an
angioplasty
and came home (eventually) with 2 stents as my holiday souvenirs! I am now on the usual cocktail of drugs - just come off Tricaglor, and taking aspirin, Bisoprolol 5mg, Losartin and Atorvostatin.

Newbie to the forums
Dad had a heart attack and had
angioplasty
- all successful and last echo showed very little damage to the heart. This is great but I’m struggling. I’m fearful of everyone around me now and what they eat, do/don’t do and have been quite tearful at times (in private).

Angioplasty
However I was really shocked to have a heart attack last Wednesday evening and was rushed to hospital where they performed an
angioplasty
and placed a stent. I feel fine and have to take quite a few tablets for the heart.

HEART SCANS( CORONARY CALCIUM SCAN)
You also should not have a heart scan if you already had heart attack or have a surgical procedure, such as
angioplasty
,or coronary bypass surgery to treat coronary arteries disease,in these case, your doctor already know, you have artery disease and you are at high risk of having heart attack.A heart scan

I had a heart attack in April 2013, ad had

How many stents can you actually have ?
I have had 2 heart attacks, the first one in 2004 and I had
angioplasty
with stenting and got 4 stents with another 3 being added within the first year when the results were questionable. The second attack was then in 2007 when I got another 3 in the same artery and 1 in a different artery.

First HA
I suffered my first HA five days ago and was released from hospital yesterday following a successful
angioplasty
procedure which involved having 3 stents fitted. I am due to have a further
angioplasty
later in the year to deal with a slight narrowing in another part of my heart.

Diagnosis
I too have similar symptons ignored by NHS to point of MI ie: heart failure symptons .Even when had full blown MI dying 3x revived with
angioplasty
they still ignore the dysponea affecting mobility & function calling apnea .Yet CPAP machine ineffective.
