Hi I had an
angioplasty
2 weeks ago after a very sudden and completely unexpected heart attack. I have recovered really well but my chest feels really tight (no pain) is this normal? Still trying to get my head round all this! Thank you in advance.

Symptoms or Testing ?
Surely it means the Microvascular complaints are left in limbo untreated .I had MI over 11 years ago revived with
angioplasty
yet stable & unstable angina not confirmed with PAH being picked up on a Reveal Device revealing nothing else??!! Surely 11 years too long!

About 1.50 pm she again phoned from Bristol Heart Institute saying it was more serious and they had transferred him via emergency ambulance to the BHI and he was having an
Angioplasty
to help the heart function and as long as he was stable they were going to operate.

I HAVE INHERITED CORONARY ARTERY DISEASE
I am booked in for an angiogram +\-
angioplasty
next month and can think of nothing else. My daily life has become a blur and right now I don’t think I can have it done.

Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy (HOCM)
I've been told this is 'significant' but as it's all new I don't have anything to compare it against. in the next 6-8 weeks I'm due to have an ICD fitted and undertake an
Angioplasty
procedure. Hope to hook-up with other HOCM members.

Heart attack then cardiac arrest after lobectomy
He was rushed back to Papworth and had an emergency
angioplasty
where they repaired one of his stents. On 25/12/17 he had a cardiac arrest and had to be given CPR and shock treatment but was fine when I visited in HDU that day.

Vegetarianism- does it actually prevent relapse ?
I would ask people who had CABG or
angioplasty
long back, whether they followed veg diet or otherwise and did they find any difference ? Should I stop fish and lean meat altogether to prevent relapse of the heart disease(MI)?
