Anafranil

I am on Stimuloton in addition to Anafranil. Has anyone had this combination of meds?

Is it possible that this is due to lowered dosage of anafranil? I'm currently taking anafranil - twice daily, one morning and one evening. Stimuloton - 3 morning and fluanxol - 2 evening.

I am currently on anafranil, siranalen and fluanxol. Anyone else in the same boat?

My next appointment with my psychiatrist is late September, so I just wanted to ask the folks who've taken Anafranil if they've noticed those side effects go away after some time.

So I went to a check up with my psychiatrist and was prescribed Anafranil (two in the morning and three in the evening) and Fluanxol (two in the evening) in the place of Zoloft and Hedonin accordingly. I wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced problems with urinating.

New here, , i have always been down/depressed by default, some nasty effects from anafranil back in the day put me off meds and i ended up long term unemployed and very very depressed.

Other SSRIs - fluvoxamine and paroxwtine - seems like I have tolerance to them too, because the are don't work, then anafranil - again, doesn't work. My psychiatryst tryed to increase a dose, to do an augmentation but it doesn't work.

Has anybody used Anafranil before when SSRI's didn't work for you?

I have recently decreased the daily clomipramine intake from 150mg to 100mg but the drowsiness is still there at the same magnitude, I have started considering is not only a matter of clomipramine...

Can I buy Anafranil in UK without prescription from a pharmacy shop?

Is anyone else taking Clomipramine (Anafranil) to treat their OCD? Is it supposed to reduce obsessional thoughts? I know it is an older tricyclic antidepressant but what is it supposed to do for OCD? Is it better than Prozac?

Doctor is suggesting I move onto Anafranil. Anyone have experience with this drug? Good or bad experiences welcome! Tiffany

Anyone ever try this drug for ocd? I have tried numerous ssris and nothing is working. Someone suggested trying this. Thx

I was taking anafranil along with two other meds and my bf said he thought my OCD actually became worse. Has anyone had this experience with anafranil. I seem to get jumpy easier.

I've been on Clomipramine in the UK for a number of years. It has worked well especially to start with. Because of Brexit this medication is no longer available. My Doc has prescibed Sertraline, so I slowly came off the clomipramine. I'm now reluctant to start Sertraline as: 1) I'm feeling not too bad

tried to commit suicide ,hospitalised for this and prescribed antideprissant and anti psychotic and benzodiazepines but she still have tought of suicide she told me i can control them but I am afraid she obey the voice that tell her to do so ,my question is can a person have these thought even if on anafranil

I have severe ocd..ruminating thoughts of a bad experience last year...dr suggested anafranil. Anyone ever take this and if so, how has it worked or not. Thank you!

After going through a long list of medications I ended up on one that works, Anafranil(Chlomipranine). I have taken 300mg of this medicine for the past decade. While the obsessions have stopped, weight gain and fatigue become the norm. I have 2 kids and I am happily married.

I have taken several medications but since January 2018 I am taking Anafranil along with Amitriptyline. In the past 5-6 weeks the dosage is 75mg of Anafranil twice a day + 25mg of Amitriptyline twice a day too. Has anyone been on that combo? Any positive effects?
